This first one shot will be the clean version. If you want to read the spicy version you will find it under "Lemons - Translation". Enjoy!
"Did he tell you why he wants to see us?" Alfa asked Saga, holding onto his arm and adjusting the heels she was wearing.
"Something related to the renegades, lawyers, and probably the 'wedding' thing."
"Oh."
"Oh."
"If I look this good, do you think it will distract him a little?" the girl asked, pointing to her outfit, which consisted of another one of those summery dresses that Saga had become fond of after their trip through Switzerland.
"I hope your charms don't charm him, because that would be very creepy. Anyway, are you ready?"
Alfa nodded, and Saga opened a portal that took them to the Main Temple. They waited outside while they were announced, and a guard returned, telling them they could enter Shion's office. Saga led the way, and shortly after, they stood in front of the closed door. Saga knocked, and they heard Shion's voice telling them to come in. They both entered.
"I'm glad you came so quickly. Have a seat," he pointed to one of the sofas while he went to another and sat down himself.
"Is something wrong?" Saga asked.
"No. What's done is done. You two got married civilly in Switzerland, right?"
Both nodded.
"And in order to get married civilly in Switzerland, you had to submit some documents, which were probably kept within the Sanctuary and had to be taken out of here without official authorization, and furthermore, through two people who agreed to help you. Isn't that right?"
Both nodded again.
"The documents can leave the Sanctuary, and if you wanted a civil wedding in Switzerland, there were perfectly acceptable ways to get the papers out for that purpose. Instead, you asked Milo to send you those papers. And for Milo to get them out, one of our secretaries had to assist him. Do you understand what I'm getting at?"
"That it was wrong for us to take those papers without permission and without your consent," Saga replied.
"The official protocol indicates that you should have asked for permission and blessings from Athena and me before getting married. We wouldn't have said no. Out of respect for your positions, the Sanctuary, and the Goddess herself, you should have done so."
"We understand, but it wasn't the time for celebrations, and we didn't want to wait. Besides, it actually ended up helping the situation," Gemini answered.
"That's not the point, Saga, and you know it. You're a Golden Saint, not someone who goes through life breaking rules. Your friends already know, the entire Golden Order knows. The Sanctuary's ceremony will take place soon. For now, there's no need to shout to the world that you got married in Switzerland."
"You wanna make sure no one else follows our bad example?" Saga protested, and Alfa held his hand. "Are you serious?"
"I don't see anyone joking around here. Now, I have to go downstairs to talk to some lawyers about what happened with the renegades and what will happen to those we're deporting. Meanwhile, you will stay here and sign the papers on my desk. More bureaucracy concerning the bureaucracy that Switzerland had to go through to marry you, apologies from the Sanctuary on your behalf, and other formalities. Because yes, this matter also reaches that country and the people who agreed to marry you. Your marriage will remain official, so don't worry about that, but the relationship between the Sanctuary and Switzerland needs mending. Another lawyer will come up for those signed papers shortly. Wait here until I return."
