My alarm blares a popular tune, but I'm already awake. My body sat before my desk, full of books and sticky notes; however it felt as if I wasn't really there at that moment. It was as if the clock brought half my mind back, and soon Akaza's shouting brought all of me back!

I stood up, my mind lagging behind for a moment before it caught up. And to Akaza's relief, I turned off the alarm!

I rub my eyes and look outside, the sun kissing the trees, beginning to feed all the plants below.

What a weird metaphor, why a kiss?...

I've been reading way too many romance novels, haven't I? Ha! That makes sense. I gave myself a smile to boost my mood, though it didn't seem to do much for my heart. The beat of it was normal, yet it was so void of any natural feelings.

I rolled my shoulders and plucked out a new outfit for today. Mondays have always been interesting, right? A new week, full of the same people. Or that's what it felt like.

However, some people always made those weeks feel as if they were an adventure.

Like Akaza!

Haha! He's always so fun to toy around with, and poke! He hates it whenever I physically and mentally poke him.

Thanks to him, and a few others, I was gifted the ability to laugh.

I took a quick shower, tied a towel around my hair and put on my pants only.

I kept the towel on for a few more moments, not drying my hair quite yet.

I gave three harsh knocks onto Akaza's door, knowing he was most likely trying to find his wallet. Which I hid.

I 'brashly' (It wasn't that bad!) opened his door, where he looked at me; eyes full of confusion. I grinned and waved. The gesture sadly wasn't returned, sigh.

Yes I verbally say 'sigh'! It's fun!

"Douma." Akaza stated my name, fun! He didn't have amnesia!

But I didn't respond, just smiling wider before taking off the headwrap and shaking my hair like a dog. Spraying water everywhere, even on Akaza!

I stopped after a few moments.

"Happy Monday, Akaza!~" I exclaimed, leaving the towel and running out of his room and shutting the door pretty hard, rattling whatever was around.
