Mariano was a little shocked at the sudden question, but he couldn't blame her for her curiosity. I mean he did arrive so suddenly, he guessed that it was only fair he answered her honestly.

"I... don't know, he said I was going to become the next general after him... And something about serving 'The Almighty Ogosho'..." Mariano said he hoped that that answer would satisfy her.

"Mmh, that sounds like a lot...Although I would not put it past him to make you do all his dirty work," Ocean said, her face hardening and sitting up for her next words. "The Almighty Ogosho, huh? He already told you about that Although I guess he did not exactly tell you who they were. 'The Almighty Ogosho, the most Divine creature to ever exist' It's said that they invented Angbotain and Devuniake, which is where you go when you die, depending on who you are as a person, then he created Earth. The belief that he exists is purely out of faith, there haven't ever been sightings of this Almighty Ogosho. I honestly do not believe they exist," Ocean started ripping the grass, being the only thing she could fidget with at the moment.

"I'm only telling you this because you are not from here, around here, expressing your beliefs that are not the common ones will get you-" Ocean was suddenly cut off by shouting

"Sorry for the wait children!! I brought refreshments and some towels" the shout came from the entry of the hidden garden.

"We will continue this later, okay?" Ocean said, getting up and fixing her dress.

Mariano nodded hastily, getting up as well, almost falling in in the process.

It seemed Miss Maria arrived, and she was accompanied by Miss Catherine, who looked worried, but when she caught sight of him, the worry vanished, replaced by relief.

"There you are, young master! I have been looking for you since you ran from the master's office, are you alright? I saw you were" She began but was cut off.

"Oh! Um, I'm fine! Nothing to worry about Miss Catherine!" Mariano said the thought of them hearing how weak he acted after meeting that man was embarrassing. Something identical to understanding came to Catherine's eyes.

"Alright, but we need to get going soon, prepare you for no one," Miss Catherine said, trying to be as vague as possible; it seemed that it was a topic that Miss Maria and his cousin could not know about.

"Aw so soon? Can't you stay for a few more minutes?" Eva said, trying to give him the best puppy eyes she could, which were kind of working, but it was not up to him.

"I apologize, young mistress, but Mariano has a long day coming for him tomorrow, and he needs rest." Miss Catherine said bowing

"Oh, alright, but we need to play again sometime, okay?" She said, her tone slightly disappointed.

"Alright! Goodbye, Miss Maria, Ocean, Eva, and Evalyn!" Mariano said as he started walking in the direction of the entrance, and apparently, only exit.

He was starting to feel the adrenaline fade, replaced by exhaustion and tiredness.

They had been walking for a while; somewhere in that time, Miss Catherine had picked up a lantern from the ground, Providing a source of light, making it easy to see ahead.

Mariano was tired he was dragging his feet, his head threatened to fall, and his eyes were shutting in an abnormal way. He was falling asleep but that didn't mean he couldn't feel Miss Catherine's tentative eyes on him, waiting to see if he was going to succumb to sleep to prevent him from falling.

"Mariano, are you tired? I can carry you if you so please," Catherine's voice said, but it was already too late. He was already falling to the ground, half-conscious. He was prepared to feel the fall, but it never came. Instead, he was pressed against a warm body.
