14 years laterAdira ducked as the glass cup came flying towards her, "I gave up everything for you." Her father yelled as he came towards her.
"I sacrificed so much only for you to come out looking like your whore of a mother." he spat venomously.
He walked towards her grabbing her by her hair before dragging her to the basement, "I'll show you bitch."
After tonight this was going to be the last time her father put her hands on her, Afonso picked up the spiked whip that laid to the corner of the room before whipping it towards his daughter's back.
Afonso thought he could love Adira, but he couldn't because she looked too much like her mother and it did nothing but remind him of what he lost.
Adira cried out, tightening her fists, before she felt her head being snatched back, "Do you know what you just did wrong dear daughter?"
"I cried."
Weakness such as emotions and feelings were not allowed in this household, Afnso had it instilled in her that it was wrong and unlawful.
"Good girl." He said as he ran his tongue on his lower lip.
His phone sounded throughout the basement, he picked it up talking in dutch, "breng haar hier,"
(bring her here)
Her eyebrows furrowed, bring who here.
"Oke Hector."
Her heart stammered in fear when she heard his name, her bottom lip trembled as she whispered "no no no."
"You're excused pet."
Adira stood from her knees as she made her way out of the basement towards her room, she rushed in and locked it.
She knew when not locking her door the monsters would come out. She moved to the corner of the wall and sat down humming this song that always put her at ease.
She didn't know where she heard it from but that was the least of her worries. That song gave her hope that the world was beautiful, even when she had seen only the ugly.
The jiggling of the door pulled her from her thoughts, "What'd I tell you about locking the door."
She gripped the knife that was strapped to her inner thigh as he snatched her off the floor.
"You thought you could hide from me." Hector said with a smile that made her uneasy.
He towered over as he ran his finger down her thigh and caressed here cheek, she smacked his hand away, "Fuck you." She spat before pulling the knife between her thighs and stabbing him in the chest.
Blood spurted from his mouth as his eyes were wide with shock, she raised the knife again and stabbed him again repeatedly. He opened his mouth to scream before she moved to snap his neck, the satisfying sound filling the room.
She removed the knife from his chest before moving to cut his head off.
Extreme but she needed a reminder that he was gone from her life.
She sat his head on the bed before leaving the room and making her way towards Afonso's room, her grip on the knife tightened the closer she got to the room.
She whistled loudly through the hallway the kill bill song, bouncing off the walls as she rounded the corner to her father's room.
The sounds of moans and grunts were muffled through the door as she leaned against the wall twirling the knife around in her fingers.
Afonso stiffened as the sound of kill bill sounded throughout his ears.
"What was that baby?" his girlfriend Amanda questioned frantically.
Amanda Stovall was the daughter of a rich politician, she was naive to say the least and also knew about his past but she was convinced she could change him, her naivety is what drew him to her and barbaric nature intrigued her.
"It's okay my love." he whispered what was supposed to sound loving but failed to do so. Adira cringed at her father's love sickness.
Amanda's phone rang loudly causing her to jump, she picked up the phone seeing her father calling, "Hey daddy." she answered happily.
"Hey pumpkin." his gruff voice said.
Adira gripped the knife firmly as she prepared to enter the room, she grimaced internally when she saw her father and his girlfriend naked leaning against one another.
"Adira, I thought I told you I was having company." Afonso said as his heart pounded against his chest when he saw the knife in her hand.
Amanda smiled at Adira but it faded when she saw her blank face, she got slowly before throwing on her robe.
"Hey dear, I'm Amanda, your father's girlfriend."
Adira tilted her head, "Dear Father, your time has come."
Afonso stood up quickly in rage, "I am the only family you have left and you want to kill me." He seethed.
Amanda stood in front of Afonso hoping to protect him, "How cute." Adira said with a smile before she threw the knife perfectly at Amanda's head.
The knife embedded itself in the center of her forehead, as she fell back onto Abel's shocked body.
"No no no." he whispered, caressing her once rosey skin.
He felt a hard metal tip against the side of his head, before she hit him with the gun.
"Father, have you not learned from the earlier lesson, what's the number one rule?"
"N-o no emotions or fe-elings." he said with tears running down his face.
She chuckled darkly before shooting him four times in each leg, "Now don't move, it's time for your punishment.
She skipped off, going down stairs towards the basement grabbing the metal whip her father always used on her.
She smirked lightly as she caressed the tool, imagining all she was going to do to her father.
She skipped back to his room, as the sound of weeping filled her ears, "Really?" she questioned as he cried over Amanda's body.
"This really isn't a good look for you Afonso" she tsked as he looked at her with bloodshot eyes.
She raised her hand with the whip and cracked it against his back, She kept at it until he was just lying there barely breathing.
She stood over him noticing how his chest stopped moving, she pulled the gun from behind her back and shot him in the head until the clip was empty.
She continued whistling as she walked downstairs before turning the stove on high heat and then throwing gasoline everywhere and walking out the house.
