𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩,

Shivank sighed as he stepped into the elevator. The entire day had been a mess—the worst day of his life. He hadn't slept after their conversation, consumed by the fear that she might leave him. When morning came, he called his boss, offering to work on his day off, just to avoid facing her. It pained him to think she wasn’t willing to address their issues together. He hated that their relationship had reached a standstill.

She never understood how serious the situation could get. It was her bad habit—carrying the weight of everything alone. Talking to her coldly before leaving that morning had been agonising, but he felt he needed to give her space, hoping she’d realize it was better to communicate than to carry the burden in silence.

He'd expected her to call, to say she was ready to share everything. When he couldn’t stand it anymore, he reached out to Manav, who was busy at first, but then called back. Shivank’s heart ached when Manav told him Vaani had been missing him, hadn’t eaten, and was consumed by insecurities.

After hanging up, his fear of facing her only grew. But then, Unnati called, sharing everything Vaani had been too afraid to. She explained how a friend had tried to manipulate her, planting doubts in her mind. Vaani had defended him, but the question, "Does your Shivank really love you?" had broken her resolve. Of course he loved her—more than anything. He hadn’t confessed yet because he wanted it to be special. Now, though, he had to fix everything.

Unlocking the door, Shivank took a deep breath before stepping inside. His heart clenched when he saw her. Vaani sat there, her tears dried up, kajal smudged, clutching their photo frame tightly, as though holding on to him through it.

She looked up when he entered, and they locked eyes for a brief moment before he turned away, heading towards their bedroom. But she stopped him, gently grasping his hand, her grip tighter than usual. He turned to face her, seeing the tear stains still on her face.
