Heaven's POV\ Thursday

Heaven's outfit

Mercury's outfit

I had made it to Thursday and Brendon was still sick, I had Tiana well most of the time but I still felt out of place

I was treated differently by students and even teachers but I suck it up and move on

I walked down the hallway with Tiana by my side as we giggled about something

I was knocked over and fell and my books fell over, great again 

'' shit I'm sorry'' a deep voice mixed with a Spanish accent said

The male helped me pick my books up and Tiana looked at me trying to indicate something, my fingertip brushed against the male's and we both jolted from the electricity that passed through our fingers

Looking up slowly I was met with Mercury's eyes but they weren't his normal brown color eyes they were red as his fingertips brushed against my cheek and we were both stuck in a trance

The bell rang bringing us back, indicating that I was late for my history class

'' Fuck'' I muttered grabbing my books before scurrying down the hallway Tiana behind me

'' What the hell just happened'' Tiana said 

'' I don't know'' I said

Location: Cafeteria 

I sat at a table with Tiana as we ate and laughed as I told her a story 

''And Brandon started laughing and fell down the stairs breaking his foot and I was laughing with my sister just for me to fall and sprain my ankle'' I said as we both cracked up and tears welled in my eyes

''Care to share the joke'' a familiar voice said as he and his friend sat at our table

Tiana and I froze, still holding in our laughter as tears leaked down the face 

Holding my head down to contain the laughter, I looked up back at Tiana and we busted out laughing

'' Gosh I'm sorry'' I muttered wiping my tears as they fell silent 

My phone dinged and I was getting a call from my brother whose contact name was '' bubba''

Connecting my AirPods I answered

'' Hey bubs'' 

'' Hey Halle, do me a favor and get me some food on your way home''

''Food's home though and I left my card I'm sorry, get Chole to do it Brandon'' I said 

''You sound like Mama but alright bye see you at home'' he said hanging up before I responded

'' Rude'' I muttered removing my AirPods

'' Heaven right?'' Mercury questioned

'' I would think so'' I said feeling nervous 

'' can I talk to you?''

Time Skip

I walked down the street with Mercury beside me

'' So I'm your mate great''

''You say it like you don't want to be my mate'' he said sounding sad

'' its not that I don't want to be your mate it's just I know nothing about you, just 3 days ago you knew not that I existed'' I said 

'' We can always get to know each other if you want we can take things slow'' 

'' I would like that'' I said smiling

'' You think you grown!'' Brandon yelled through his bedroom window with a rag in his hand as he blew his nose

''Aren't you sick, matter a fact I'm older little boy'' I said

''Bet you I come down there and whoop your ass, you in no position to converse with another male specie lil girl'' he said fixing his bonnet

'' Is that my bonnet!'' I yelled for the first time in a while

''And that's my cue'' he said 

'' Bye'' I said running inside as Mercury stood amused 

'' Your number!'' he yelled as I ran outside again after Brandon 

'' you asshole''

''I'm sick!'' he yelled 

'' sick my ass'' I said huffing as I stopped holding my chest 

This is so embarrassing 

'' You will be back Brandon Bryson Bailey'' I said as Mercury stood beside me

'' Alright Heaven Halle Bailey''

''How dare you use my full government child Respect your elders'' I said 

'' is this how it always is''

'' Trust me it's has been worse and I don't understand how my brother is stealing my stuff''

'' Trust me my 4-year-old sister stole everything even my clothes that have no chance of fitting her but about that number''

''Oh yea sure'' I said typing in my number

'' Oh hey mama'' he said his face heating up

''Hello baby boy'' a beautiful lady said as he dragged his feet over

'' Bye Heaven''

'' Bye Mercury''

'' What I said have faith'' Aurora said throwing her hand over my shoulder

I smiled 

'' BRYSONNNN!'' Aurora yelled chasing Bryson who had her bonnet and shoes now
