Let me tell you a secret.

I will never know if somebody bleeds.
But I'll be there when you're in need.
I was naive of yellow, blue and the roses on the bed.
Of orange, purple and the day you said you were wearing green.

I never looked at the skies the same way others did while laying on the grass,
couldn't smile under the gaze of thousands and million shining stars.
Because I never knew how it felt,
never realized how massive the damage you left.

You stroked me like a brush,
drew me scars behind the bush.
Flicked me like an ash on a cigarette.
You set me on fire and like a painter,
left me dried on a palette...
Now I'm nothing but a great pretender.
