It was suppose to be easy. Go to the Olympics with the team, train, play games and possibly come back with a medal. Falling in love was never the plan. Especially not at the prince, the next king of the country and the captain of the volleyball team...
Arriving at Paris at 3pm is a sight to behold. Charles de Gaulle airport is beautiful but going through the Paris by bus to go into the Olympic Village is really something else.
Streets are small and beautiful, everywhere is art and calmness in French people. I was never someone who liked to visit different places but I get it now.
When we arrived, we got into our own bus that was filled with our girls and our expert team that is always with us.
"The Olympic Village is located 7 km north of the center of Paris, overlapping the communes of Saint-Denis, Ile Saint-Denis and Saint-Ouen and less than 5 minutes away from the Stade de France, the village will be the epicenter of the Paris in this years sports events", coach reads from the pamphlet she got. Since she brought her megaphone you really can not listen to her. We just nod our heads like we care. There is a small chance we will never see Paris outside of our gym and hall that will train in so this really isn't something we care about.
"We will be in the same room?", Jennie asks me
"Of course. I hope it will be just the two of us. I really need the peace for the stuff I need to watch and write a report", I say to her thinking about all of the things I need to do
After a while, we arrived at the Village and it is amazing. Like a little city with different nationality at every corner.
There are a lot of people but we can all spot our players and teams. For today we are in deep blue sweatpants that have a large lion in white along the whole left side. We also have that kind of jerseys in deep blue and white with a blue lion.
We are welcomed by the staff of the building and led to the conference room that has the capacity to hold this many people.

I really didn't expect the lobby and the whole building to be this modern and nice for us. I thought they would insert us in some dusty, old hotel that is reserved for small countries nobody knows they exist but France surprised me. Well done France.
"Wow, this is really nice", Gina says looking around with wide eyes, "If we got this, imagine what the USA got"
"I don't think they would design every building differently for each country. We are lucky we got to experience this", I say to her still absorbing everything this place is giving us
"You are correct", a voice behind me says that I don't recognize
The three of us turn to see Kylie in her perfect form with that perfect smile and full white teeth, "To think we deserve this is unbelievable but we do. We got to go here together", she continues to say as we just look at her
"God, you are so pretty", Jennie says with heart eyes while looking at her
That makes Gina and I giggle while Jennie is still in trance
