(Y/N) POV

Adam, Bree, and Chase were standing across the room from Leo, Davenport, and me while wearing what looked like neck braces. "Okay, now we'll check your bionic reflexes. First the left arm." Davenport pushes a button causing Chase to hit Adam and Adam to hit Bree

"Ohh!" Adam groans in pain as Chase starts to smile and chuckle

"Okay, now the right arm." This time Bree hits Adam while Adam hits Chase.

Chase groans with pain and starts to touch his nose as Adam shouts "Ohh! Oh, I hate this game!"

"Okay, Adam. Well, you can sit this one out. I'll just do Bree and Chase." Davenport then pushes a button causing Bree and Chase both to hit Adam.

"Ohh!" Bree, Chase, and I start to laugh at Adam

Leo turns over to Davenport "Come on, Big D, it's summer vacation! Let's hit the beach. Slap on some shorts and show everyone your pasty little walking sticks!"

"Please" I beg

Davenport starts to wave us off "Not now, Leo and Y/n. We're doing some routine bionic chip maintenance. Besides, this is fun, right, guys?" Tasha then walks into the lab as we turn over to the siblings.

"Good times." Adam groans

"A blast." Chase sarcastically comments as I go over and check his nose.

"Okay, are we done here? I wanna go be normal for a while!" Bree takes off the neck brace and throws it at Davenport but ends up hitting the console causing it to start to spark and set off an alarm.

"Can't we go just five minutes without something sparking, exploding, or oozing around here?" Tasha shouts before walking closer to Davenport "Ever since summer vacation started, it has been like one long science experiment."

Davenport takes ahold of Tasha "I'm sorry, honey. I... you know... maybe... maybe Leo and Y/n are right. Maybe we need to take a break and go to the beach." Adam and Bree start to cheer "We'll take a whole weekend, as a normal family, you know? No gadgets, no phones. We'll do it totally tech-free."

"Oh, that is exactly what I need. You would really do that for me?" Tasha says

"Of course. You are way more important to me than the amazing innovations born of my genius." Davenport tells her, Tasha smiles then walks over out the lab.

"Wow, Big D, it's really nice of you to blow off work for my mom," Leo says as he finishes cleaning up the mess that was made.

"Well, you know, Leo, now and then, everybody needs a little piece and..." Davenport is interrupted by the Klaxon blares "Quiet!"

"It's the early warning satellite system." I comment

"It's detecting a giant solar flare. When that thing hits the atmosphere, it'll cause massive power failures and a total blackout of satellite communications." Davenport says worriedly

"Okay, I should tell my mom we're not going to the beach, then," Leo said as he goes to leave the lab

Davenport quickly walks around us and over to Leo "No, no, no, no. Don't tell your mom a thing about this."

"Oh, right. Let's just ignore the biggest solar flare in history to keep the little lady happy." Chase mocks

Davenport lets out a sigh "Don't worry about the solar flare. I'll handle it. Just pack your stuff in the R.V. and get ready to get your beach on! I know nobody says that. I know that."

Adam then starts to hand each of us safety goggles, when Chase gets his, he looks at Adam "Adam, safety goggles aren't going to protect our eyes from the solar flare."
