Diagon Alley

-Rebecca's POV-

I woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon. I was about to get changed when I realized I was going to Diagon Alley today. I got my Hogwarts letter last week.

I skipped to the kitchen and saw my dad making breakfast. My dad is Severus Snape. He is also the potions master at Hogwarts. "Morning Rebecca" he said. "Morning" I said. I quickly ate breakfast and put my shoes on. My dad was waiting at the door. We were aparating. I grabbed on my dads arm. It felt like I was being squeezed through a small tube. When I opened my eyes I was in the middle of Diagon Alley. We were meeting the Malfoys at Olivanders. We walked in the door and I saw Draco. I ran up to him and Hugged him. "Becca I missed you" Draco said. "I missed you too" I said. Olivander came from the back and walked up to the counter. " I have been waiting for this moment for a while, Miss Snape and Mr. Malfoy" He said. He grabbed a wand and handed it to me. I waved the wand and it broke a vase. He gave me another one and it started to glow. It was birch, dragon heartstring 10 inches. Draco went through three wands before finding a wand that suited him. Our parents went to get our other supplies while we got our pets. We went to Eyelops Owl Emporium. I got a light brown owl and Draco got a grey owl.

We then met our parents at Flourish and Blotts. It was time to go, so we said our goodbyes and apparated back home. I was really tired, so I skipped dinner. "Good night dad" I said. "Good night" He replied. I was so exited, I was leaving for Hogwarts tomorrow. I quickly scanned my trunk to make sure I had everything. When I was about to go to sleep, I thought of name for my owl. Lightning I thought.
