King Cross/ Hogwarts

-Rebecca's POV-

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock beeping. It was 9:00. Today I was going to Hogwarts. The train leaves at 11:00 and my dad wants to apparate at 10:30, so I had an hour and a half to get ready and eat. I went to the kitchen and made fried eggs. I ate my eggs and left my dad his on the counter. I went back to my room and into my closet.

I left my hair straight and just brushed it. I looked in the mirror. I really looked like a muggle I thought. I looked at the clock. It said 10:29. "perfect" I said. I grabbed my cage with lightning, my trunk and my wand and headed to the living room. My dad was waiting for me, "ready?" he asked me. "As I'll ever be" I said. He chuckled and showed a rare genuine smile. We then apparated to Kings Cross Station. He handed me my ticket. It said platform 9 3/4. 9 3/4 is that right I thought. "Is this right dad?" I asked. " yes to get on the platform, you have to run through the wall between platforms 9 and 10" he said. "Your joking right" I exclaimed. "No, now hurry I have to be at Hogwarts" He replied. I started running towards the barrier and thought omg I'm going to die. I went through the wall and ended up on platform 9 3/4. I looked to my right and saw a scarlet steam engine. I looked behind me for my dad, but he wasn't there. He must've went to Hogwarts I thought. I got on the train and went to look for a compartment. Almost all of the compartments were full.  I finally found one with a boy with jet black hair and another with ginger hair. I sat down across from them. "I'm Ron, Ron Weasley" the ginger said. All of a sudden I saw a scar on the other boys  forehead.  "I'm-" the boy started to say. "Your Harry Potter" I interrupted him. "I saw your scar." "Oh" was all Harry said back. "Where is your sister" I asked. "Tiffany and Ron's brother Michael are sitting with some other random people" he said. I should probably introduce myself I thought. "Well I'm Rebecca Snape" I said. When they didn't say anything, I pulled out a book. It was called the Outsiders. I was about halfway in the book when the door opened. It was Draco. "Rebecca, I've been looking for you" Draco said. "Well you found me" I replied. "Come with me  to my compartment" He said. "Ok" I said "Bye Harry, bye Ron." He led me back to where he was sitting and I sat beside him. He then introduced me to his friends. Their names were Crabbe,

Goyle and Blaise. "It's nice to meet you guys" I said. For the remainder of the ride we talked about 

Quiddditch and stuff like that. When we got off the train, a  giant person was yelling "First years over here". We went to him and stood with the rest of the first years. "3 to a boat" he said. "By the why I'm Hagrid." Blaise, Draco and I got in a boat together and they started moving towards Hogwarts. "Whoa" I breathed. After about a 3 minute boat ride, we got off the boats and followed Hagrid to the entrance hall. "Someone will be here shortly to take you into the great hall to get sorted" Hagrid said then left. Everybody was so silent. I think they were nervous. Draco suddenly spoke up and said "Is it true what they were saying on the train, Harry and Tiffany Potter have come to Hogwarts?" while walking up to them with Crabbe, Goyle and I. "This is Crabbe, Goyle and Rebecca and I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy" he said. Ron chuckled while he said his name. "Think my name is funny do you" Draco said angrily " No need to ask for yours, red hair and hand-me-down robes, you must be a Weasley." And Draco decided to be an idiot while Ron was blushing furiously "Soon you'll find that some wizarding families are better than others, I can help you there" Draco said smirking and holding his hand out. "I think I can think I can tell the wrong sort for myself thanks" Harry replied wiping the smirk off Draco's face. Draco dropped his hand and walked away with Crabbe and Goyle.  "Sorry about him" I said to Harry and Ron. "Rebecca c'mon" Draco shouted. As I was walking back Professor McGonagall came in and started talking to us about the different houses. She then led us in the great hall. "When I call your name, you will sit on the stool and put the sorting hat on" she said.

Crabbe, Goyle and Blaise also got in Slytherin. At the table I was sitting between Draco and Tiffany. "Hi I'm Rebecca" I said to Tiffany. "I'm Tiffany" she said. "Let the feast begin" Dumbledore loudly interrupted. There was so much food to choose from, I didn't know where to start. I ended up just getting chicken, potatoes, vegetables and pudding. After dinner we followed the prefect to the dungeons. "Password" The portrait  asked. "Pureblood" the prefect said. We walked in and the common room was huge . "This is epic" Tiffany said. nodded in reply. I went up to my dorm and found out that I was sharing a dorm with Tiffany. I got changed into a tank top and sweatpants. "Night" Tiffany said. "Night" I said and went to sleep.
