𝑀𝑒𝑛𝑔𝑗𝑖𝑎 𝑐𝑖𝑡𝑦
AhLi was in the guest's room, on one of the beds, reading a book. The door of the balcony was open. The wind blew the light yellow curtains. The plants were dancing while the wind sang them songs. ZhangLi's hair was also swaying with the plants, disturbing him to read. His right leg was swinging off of the bed, and the injured one one was resting on the bed.
Mimi came inside the room, closing the door behind him. "So you were here the entire time." He said, making AhLi scared a bit, even if he said those words with a smile. "Were you looking for me? I'm sorry, Your Majesty." ZhangLi said trying to avoid eye contact. Mimi understood what he was feeling, and his expression was a sad one.
"I told you, it's alright. I know you were scared I would do something to you, so I understand why you ran away. I'm not mad." Mimi said walking towards AhLi, and laying down beside him (left).
When he was little, he would often sleep with his mom and hug her. He missed those times a lot. So he closed his eyes and hugged ZhangLi's waist. AhLi made a slight sound of confusion and shock, while the king was making himslef comfortable. "Don't move. Let me stay like this for some time.. Please...". AhLi obviously knew why he did that, and wanted to comfort him. But he thought he wouldn't want that. Yet he didn't listen to that thought, and put his left hand on the king's head. At this action, Mimi tightened his grip twice while trembling.
It looked like he was crying. ZhangLi felt guilty for him. Mimi always stayed strong in the eyes of other people. Yet now he let it all go. ZhangLi let go of the book and hugged his head. Mimi buried his entire face in AhLi's waist while crying. ZhangLi tried his best to comfort him, yet he could still hear him cry, and felt him squeeze his hands around his waist even more.
"It's alright. It's alright. I will never leave you. I'll always be by your side, 𝐓𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬..." AhLi said whispering
You could clearly understand that at this moment, Mimi wished ZhangLi to say that as his lover. What if that wasn't true? -Mukhimis started to think, and that's why he was cryimg even more.

Time passed and Mimi fell asleep hugging ZhangLi by the waist. AhLi then slowly lifted Mimi's head up, trying not to wake him up, and wiped his tears. He let the king sleep on him for a while.. While he was reading the book, and while he was reading, he slowly.. slowly.. started to pat Mimi on the head.
After he finished reading, (bro reading a book in one day while I read one in 3 weeks. I actually readed two books in 8 days in summer, now 3 weeks and I didn't finish one of 381 pages.) he went to the library to get a new one, and go back to the king so he won't do something stupid cause he isn't there.
When he arrived at the library, when searching for a new book, he came across a scroll that had the word "Oases". He remembered when Mimi took him there to relax, and he thought it was normal. Yet when seeing it writen on a scroll, it made him think that Mimi didn't bring him there just to relax. So he took it, and read it.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑶𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒔¹
When Ra first made the earth, he also made the first ever humans. Isiris and Aohna (random names invented by me :v). Those two fell deeply in love with eachother, and lived a 'happy' life. Iris was the man, and the man's deed is to feed the family. One day, when they were in the endless desert, on a hot day, Isiris noticed a scorpion coming out of the sand. He took it, and gave it to Aohna (pronounce that how the hell u want) and she ate it alive. Ra, seeing that pitiful couple from up there, felt guilty for them and made from under the sand thousands of trees, grass, different plands and flowers, and water come out of there. He made them the Gods of Oases, and made them immortal so they could live eternally together, and love eachother forever. Some hundreds of years later, a pharaoh came there, praying to the two Gods. He told them that he had a daughter that was in love with a simple citizen, but since they needed to leave the royale bloodline pure, she couldn't marry him. He prayed to the two Gods to make that, if a simple citizen, guard, homeless person that a royal is in love with, if he or she will step on the grass of the Oases, their blood will become pure, and royal. He said that he would sacrifice himself for that. The two lovers heard his prayer, and decided to fulfill his wish, without sacrificing hinself, because he loved his daughter deeply. Just like they loved eachother. And from there on, this pharaon's wish, becam a tradition for all the royales of Ebis.
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒅
ZhangLi's eyes widened when he readed the last few sentences. He quickly put the scroll back on it's place, took a random one, and quickly went back to Mimi.
He slowly put Mimi's head around the area where his wais was, and continued reading the book he took. Even if he was trying his best to understand what it said, he couldn't understand because of what he read in the other scroll. He was thinking the same question over and over again, while staring at Mimi sleeping.
He was shocked.
How could a king fall in love with him? He was just a simple guard! But, it was possible. If that pharaon's daughter fell in love with a simple citizen, for another single king to fall in love with his bodyguard then it was possible.
"Do you really like me that much?"
