Brooklyn's POV:

"Mommy!" Emmy yelled from behind my mum standing at the door. She took off into a run, going right to me.

Not Fred. Me! She chose me over Fred!

I dropped down to my knees and she wrapped her arms around me, pressing her face to my neck. "Hi baby." I said as I hugged her tightly back.

"I missed you mommy." She whispered.

"I missed you too Emery." I stood up, holding her at my front and she laid her cheek on my shoulder.

"How was the trip?" My mum asked.

"Mm." I hummed.

"Oh." She said. "And how are you Fred?"

"Good." Freddie said with a little smile.

"So when does your plane leave?" She asked as she turned and walked farther into the house. I followed her, carrying Emmy, and Fred came behind me.

"We couldn't get one until tomorrow. We're staying in a ho-" I couldn't even finish my sentence before my mum spun around.

"No! Stay here Brooklyn." She said.

"Oh, we don't wanna get in your way." I said. She raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms. I looked back at Fred and he shrugged. He's tired right now. He just wants to sleep. "Okay. Thanks."

"Perfect." She clapped her hands together and spun around, going up the stairs.

I rubbed my hand against Emmy's back as I turned to Freddie. "Wanna go to the living room?"

"Sure love." He mumbled and followed after me. He's so jet lagged right now. We had to get off and on four different flights. Crappy weather and a sick captain. My baby is very tired. So is my actual baby. She's asleep on me right now.

We walked into the empty living room and I sat down on the couch, holding Emmy on my lap. Freddie sat down beside me and leaned into me, kissing my neck, then laid his head on my shoulder.

I reached my hand over to Freddie's hair and ruffled it up a little. I felt him smile against my shoulder.

I'm happy to see my parents, but I'm gonna crash soon too. Our flight is early tomorrow and I'm a mess without sleep.

I could hear my mum moving around upstairs as my eyes slowly closed and my head leaned into Freddie's.

"Brooklyn?" I heard my dad ask.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked up at my dad standing in front of the couch. Emmy wasn't in my arms anymore, but at the end of the couch, and me and Fred were laid back together, his head on my chest.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Umm." I looked around, then back at him. "I don't know."

"Aren't you supposed to be in Myrtle Beach?" He asked.

"We left early." I said as I closed my eyes. "Ellie's a dick."

"Oh." He mumbled. "So you're crashing on our couch?"

"Fred gambled away our house." I whispered.

"What?!" He yelled.

"Shut the fuck up Snivellus." Fred groaned into my boobs.

My dad crossed his arms and frowned down at my husband. "What do you see in him Brooklyn?" He sighed.

"Sexiness." I smiled.

My dad rolled his eyes and walked away from us as he swore under his breath. "Where's your mother?"

"Where's yours?" I mumbled as I closed my eyes.
