[chelsea's room]
[chelsea is in her room looking at the mirror and her mom walks in]
chelsea: hey
kendra: are you and tyler...getting back together
chelsea: i don't know...i told him he is on probation...but just going to take things one step at a time
kendra: do you think that is a good idea..i mean he really hurt you honey
chelsea: i know..that's why we're taking things slow...i gotta go...i told caroline i would meet her
[chelsea then leaves as her mom looks at her with concern]
[lockwood mansion]
[tyler is getting some coffee as his dad comes in]
richard: hey son...
[tyler's mom then walks in with a smile on her face]
carol: so tyler...i saw you and chelsea...
richard: so i take it you guys reconciled
tyler: i don't know..she said i'm on probation...but i guess we shall see how things go
carol: do you want to get back together...
tyler: well i wouldn't be lying if i didn't think about it..
carol: that's great tyler
richard: you should invite her over for dinner...
carol: yes...that would good..and perhaps..you can take her out somewhere nice after
tyler: [smiling] yea maybe...
[caroline's]
[chelsea is going through caroline's closet while bonnie and caroline are on the bed]
CAROLINE: I remember the party. Damon came up behind me, and he was kissing my neck, or biting my neck. I passed out. It's like there's holes in my memory lately. It's just weird. Maybe I let him bite me.
chelsea: Why would you do that?
CAROLINE: Can we just not talk about it, ok? Don't want to talk about Damon. I don't want to talk about any of it. Just want to go back to normal. What are you doing with that candle?
BONNIE: Um... Nothing. What's this? [showing a necklace]
CAROLINE: Damon gave it to me. Or he was going to give it to me. All i know is, it's mine now.
BONNIE: It's ugly.
CAROLINE: Well, get your hands off it.
chelsea: what's got you so werid...
caroline: nothing...anyway...what's going on..with you and lockwood
[chelsea then turns sighing]
bonnie: everyone is talking about it..i mean ever since matt and elena broke up you guys became the it couple of the school
chelsea: honestly...i don't know...we're just taking things slow..ok
caroline: do you want to get back together
chelsea: i don't know...
[chelsea then turns back looking at the clothes]
[next day]
[chelsea is washing some of the cars while talking and laughing with a teammate and she nudges chelsea that tyler is coming over to her]
chelsea: hey...
tyler: hi..you look amazing
chelsea: you don't look so bad yourself
tyler: so...last night..at the founders ball...it was nice
chelsea: well i didn't hate it...and the dance was nice
tyler:..listen chels...i know i screwed up...when i got together with vicki...but would you want to go on a date..after the car wash...
[chelsea then sighs and looks at tyler]
chelsea: i don't know...
tyler: there is no pressure...i just..being with you...it was nice..just like old times...i just want to show you i can still be that guy you fell for and hopefully still love
chelsea: well i would be lying if i said i turned my feelings off for you...
tyler: so is that a yes
chelsea: one date...
tyler: you won't regret this
chelsea: i better not...
[tyler then kisses chelsea on the cheek and walks away]
[later]
[caroline is with chelsea helping her get ready for her date with tyler]
chelsea: do you think i'm making a mistake
caroline: do you feel like you're making one
chelsea: a part of me is saying forgive tyler but another part is what is wrong with you for taking back a cheater...
caroline: well what do you want chelsea...do you want to give tyler or chance or do you want to be single...
chelsea: i don't know...that's what so hard...
caroline: you'll figure it out...just..if you do decide to get back together with tyler...be careful...
chelsea: yea...my mom said that too
caroline: how does she feel about it
chelsea: she wasn't thrilled about the idea...but respects my decision
caroline: that's what i love about your mom...you guys can talk about boys and life...
chelsea: and you can't do that with yours
caroline: no...you've seen her...she never has the time and when she does she doesn't understand...
chelsea: to be fair she is the sherrif....and just give her a chance care...tyler will be her soon...
caroline: call me with all the details
chelsea: you got it
[the two then hug]
[later]
[the doorbell rings and chelsea answers seeing tyler and the two smile]
tyler: ready to go
[tyler then extends his hand out and chelsea cautionly takes it as the two walk to his car]
