After years and years of dating each other, both happier then ever, y/n worked up the courage.
y/n bowed down on one knee, Taylor focused on the beautiful orange sky reflecting across the water, y/n waited till Taylor turned around and finally noticed.
Taylor's face lit up.
"Omg... y/n... this is real right..?" Taylor said completely shocked, speechless.
"Of course it's real, my love." y/n chuckled seeing Taylor absolutely flip in excitement.
"Omg..Omg.. y/n.. I.. Yes!" Taylor couldn't even describe how happy she was.
Y/n stood up and put the ring on Taylor's finger.
"It fits!" Taylor said shaking in excitement.
"I asked for your ring size silly, of course it fits!" Y/n teases Taylor.
They both immediately hug and kiss after y/n puts the ring on Taylor's finger.
They both glanced back at the sunset.
"This is the most beautiful place to propose. You did a great job, babe." Taylor leans her head on y/n's shoulder.
"I'm glad, I wanted to make it special."
They stayed until the sun completely set, leaving the sky colorless.

Taylor immediately told everyone that she was engaged, she jumped in joy everytime she told someone.
But this time it was finally time to tell her parents.
"Mom... I need to tell you something.." Taylor anxiously told her mom, hiding her hand with the ring on her finger behind her back.
"Yes, sweetie? What is it?" Her mom sat on the couch, patting a spot next to her for Taylor to come sit next to her.
"Is it some bad? Should I be worried?" Her mom asks.
"No, no, no! Mom it's amazing news!" Taylor smiled.
"I just was a little anxious, I promise it's a good thing!" Taylor's mom tilted her head at her.
"Well...?" Her mom broke the silence, she was curious.
"I'm just going to show you instead of telling you.."
"What? Taylor? Why?"
Taylor brings her hand with the ring on it forward so her mother could see it.
Her mom caught on instantly, gasping then tearing up, hugging Taylor.
"Omg! Taylor! Aw, I'm so happy for you two!!"
"How long have you been engaged? Oh wait! Where did she propose? Did you propose? What about the paparazzi? When's the wedding?" Taylor's mom rambled asking many questions, from excitement.
"Mom, mom, mom!! Calm down I'll tell you!" Taylor cuts her off.
"She proposed a week ago, in a private area where we were watching the sunset, there were no paparazzi, and I can't answer the last question yet..!" Taylor explained, her mother in awe.
"Aw how cute you two are!!" Her mom gave her a hug, of approval.
