This is nowhere near canon, I'm completly bullshiting this.

Warnings: slight angst; cussing; graphic nightmares; panic attack; gore; make out session with your boo.

Summary

After being fooled by the friend shaped worm, your crew and captain have a time dealing with your now impostor nature. Despite loving you uncondicionally, the crew, and most importantly, your captain, can't help you with everything. The best example being sleep. Or can they?

Note: Reader wears a cast at first due to being bitten by the friend shaped worm; eveyone is still alive; only Reader is an impostor.

Flashback; 3 and a half weeks ago.

"So this is Polus?" You asked, looking around in child-like wonder. Your crew had just landed on the planet Polus for an emergency stop. Nothing big, just some supplies to fix the reactor and CO2, as they been getting problems for some time now.

"Don't wander too far, stay in the facilities as Brown said" Green, your captain and close friend, said while patting your shoulder. "You mean...?" You asked, with sparkles on your eyes. Green nodded "yes, you can go explore" he replied with a chuckled, and shook his head as you ran off to a random direction.

You were always a bit of an explorer, that's why you took up on the Skeld crew, so being able to explore an alien planet was the highlight of your trip at the moment. You passed through every spot, meet the Polus crew and even made some friends!

Fortegreen and Grey were awesome to talk to, and Olive was a chill guy, you liked his vibe.

You were about to go back when you heart rustling noise nearby. Now, any sane person would ignore it and walk away, unfortunately you had a disease called 'morbiums curiousitus' and there was just no cure for it.

So of course, you went to the source of the noise, and looked around only to find........!

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

"disAPOINTING!!!!" you screamed at nothing. You were about to stomp back to the others when the cutest thing appeared just a few feet from you when you turned around.

It was a small, snake like creature, with many red eyes and cutest little pupper face.

"AWWWWAA PUPPY!!!" you said picking it up. It coed as it snuggled in your arms and you actually felt it purr. "Ough you're so adorable! Yes you are!" You said, in a baby tone.

The little creature looked at you with it's big ol eyes and squeaked. Like a rubber ducky, squeaked for real. You completly melted.

While you were busy adoring the little critter, you failed to notice the bigger critter that was looming over you. It wasn't until the silly noodle squeaked again that you noticed it.

And by that time it was too late.

It bit down on your forearm as you raised it to defend yourself. You let out a pained screech as you felt something snap.

Tears were now streaming down your face as you screamed for help. Finally, someone heard your pleas and came to your aid. You didn't even saw who it was, you were too busy holding your fucked up arm and crying over the pain to care.
