One week of school passed... And now it's officially summer!
I wasted no time and headed straight for Momiji's house. When I arrived, I took a couple deep breathes, then knocked on the door.
At first, it was silent. Then, I heard some thumps gradually getting louder and louder until they stopped and opened the door.
Oh boy, I was not ready to see... Who ever the fuck that woman is. A high schooler? Hmm...
???: Who are you?
Y/n: I should be asking you that...
Kaede: Ah, well I'm Kaede, Nice to meet you!
She held out her hand for you to shake. You simply stared at it before putting your hands behind your back and looking her in the eyes, saying:
Y/n: I'm Y/n, it's a pleasure to meet you...
Kaede: Well... Uh... Come inside!
She said, stepping aside.
Y/n: Oh thanks...
I said as I took of my shoes and went in.
When I went inside, what I saw was a basic fucking house. Why do people describe houses in such great detail in books? I FUCKING HATE IT. HOW ELSE DO I DESCRIBE A BOX WITH A TRIANGLE ON THE TOP WITH WINDOWS, HUH???!!!
I thought to myself as I sat on the couch.
After A minute of Kaede staring at me with uncomfortable silence, I decided to speak up.
Y/n: Ermm... Can I help you?
Kaede: Uhhh, I should be saying that... What'd you come here for?
Y/n: I came to see Momiji and her friends...
Kaede's eyes lit up instantly after I said that.
Kaede: OH! You're the new friend that Momiji said was cute!
Y/n: P a r d o n?
Kaede: Ara ara~, It's nothing!
Y/n: .................o............k...........
Kaede: Anywho, Momiji is out shopping right now! And the meet-up is tomorrow!
Y/n: Ohhhh... I see... Should've asked Nayutan for a date...
Kaede: Yeah...
Y/n: Welp, that was kinda a waste of time...
I said as I stood up. I looked towards Kaede
Y/n: Sorry for bothering you, M'am.
Kaede: Eh?
Y/n: See you tomorrow!
I was about to walk away until she stood up and said
Kaede: W-Wait! Don't you wanna see Momiji?
Y/n: Hm? Why?
Kaede: That's that's what friends do, they hang out even if there is no meaning behind it.
Y/n: ...I guess you're right... And besides... This is a Momiji X Reader story... So sure...
Kaede: A Momiji X Wha-
Y/n: Alright! I'll stay, Kaede.
Kaede: Ah, okay! Then I'll wait with you for Momiji to come back!
She said, as you both sat down
