Meet my family

We get Milo and pack up some important stuff that will stay at his parents house incase anything happened while we're gone. He piles boxes into his car and Milo runs around outside wagging his tail looking super excited for his trip, he's such a cute dog. I play with Milo so I'm not in Noah's way. He stays upstairs for a while on a phone call with his parents, at least he looks happy so that's good news right there.

A while passes and Noah huffs while leaning on his car "alright let's go get attacked by little kids" he looks at me and smiles a little. My heart starts beating a little faster "oh right" I think out loud and open the back door for Milo, he runs jumping inside quickly putting his paw prints all over every seat, I let out a quiet laugh and shut the door.

"You alright?" He asks me out of nowhere "yeah I'm just nervous to meet your parents, they don't know we're together and what if they don't like me? There is so much that could go wrong" I laugh nervously "I'm sweating wow" I mumble and wipe my hands on my shirt. He puts his hand on my arm dragging it down to hold my hand, he definitely just wanted to wipe his hand off before holding mine.

"They wont, they are gonna love you just be yourself and don't say anything to stupid" he puts his forehead on mine "and they probably wont have time to talk to you that much anyways because I just know if my cousins are over there your gonna get dragged away to get your hair played with and forced to play games with them" he gently kisses me "don't worry to much Cody".

I feel better about this and nod hugging him "alright, I'm gonna trust you, but if I screw up I'm gonna act like a fool trying to apologize to them" he rubs my back "stop worrying dork, in the car you go" he shoos me into the car and gets in as well.

After a long drive we make it to his parents house pulling into the driveway, I notice how nice the house and yard is, there is beautiful flowers everywhere, so many different kinds, and the grass is so green, wow this is cool.

I get pushed out of my head from the sound of the car door opening, Noah opens the back door and Milo sits impatiently trying to stop his feet from wanting to run. Noah puts his hand on his hip and looks at him "wow now your manners come back? Wanna see.." he pauses for a dramatic affect "mom??" He smiles and Milo starts barking running in circles. I laugh and get out of the car watching them.

Noah looks at him and gestures for him to go, Milo runs to the door and starts pawing gently at the door. Noah walks over to me and holds my hand "I'll be with you the whole time, use that charisma of yours they'll love your sense of humor" I hold his hand a little tighter and groan "Noah why am I like this? This should be so much easier for me, I have met so many parents of friends and strangers!" He rubs his thumb on mine "Maybe it's because I'm more than your friend or stranger" these words squeeze my heart and I kiss him quickly before pulling away from him shaking my arms and jumping a little.

He ruffles my hair and folds his arms "ready?" I nod and smile confidently "yeah dude I'm totally ready, there gonna love the codester" he groans and shakes his head "let's go dork" he wraps his arm around my neck and starts walking with me. I laugh and my chest feels lighter, I feel that confidence I sometimes have come back.

Miles huffs at the door and Noah notices he didn't get inside yet "what Milo you didn't burst through the door yet?" He says while knocking on the door before opening it, milo pushes through and runs inside. Noah opens the door fully and walks inside taking his shoes off leaving them on a rack with other shoes on it, I follow him and do the same. He looks at his surroundings and smiles.

He walks into the living room with me and the tv turns off so it gets a little quiet before everyone starts talking all at once, a kid jumps up and runs over to him "NOAH!" she says before clinging to his waist. He regains his balance and picks her up "Hi sophie" he hugs her before looking at everyone, he looks so happy. She looks at me and points in my face "who are you??" All eyes lock on me and I freeze up looking at them.
