WORK days have passed and I finally have a break, I'm currently sitting eating a bowl of cereal on my couch watching high school musical.
Gabbie was sitting on the other end of the couch with her boyfriend Damien, he was pretty chill and I liked having him around.
Since this was my second day off it felt amazing, I had all the time in the world. Mostly I did. "Why is Austin always calling?" Gabbie snickered as she pointed towards my phone which I hadn't noticed it was ringing until she brought it up. "Austin? As in Austin Butler?" Damien had asked, Gabbie nodded courageously with a grin.
I rolled my eyes at the two and answered it not really wanting to get up since Gabbie was semi use to Austin texting me and calling. "Hey, what's up?" I asked before he could answer, I could hear his slow breathing through the signal. "Hope your not busy, I was wondering if you wanna hang out today? But it's totally up to, it's just I've been a alone and my girlfriend is in Paris for fashion week." I didn't really remember what he said after that but hanging out? Absolutely, sign me up!
"Yea sure, where though?" Gabbie's eye's questioned me as I paused the movie. "I was thinking about going to the movie theater, I bought two tickets for the Barbie film because I feel like you would like that." His laugh was low and smooth, he could read a story book and I would instantly fall asleep. "Sure! When do want to pick me up?" "Maybe in the next hour or so?" "Ok." We both said our goodbyes and I unpaused the movie. "Girl! You and Austin hanging out?" I nodded not looking away and I could hear Gabbie squealing, she has been bugging me on dating him even though he has a girlfriend.
But I ignored that and got ready for it. I walked down the stairs with a pretty decent outfit, Gabbie and Damien started to hype me up and I was honestly here for it but the moment soon came to a close when a knock erupted from the front door. "Hey!" I smiled and he smiled back leaning in for a hug. "Ready to go?" I nodded and waved goodbye to my two weirdos and left.
We got into Austin's car which I took a better look at and it was so nice and sharp, I could never honestly. "Soo—why didn't you go to Paris fashion week?" I asked curiously hopping he wouldn't get mad. "Oh, well. I wanted to go but I felt like we needed space.." his eyes trailed towards me then back on the road, but it seemed like he wanted to continue his sentence. "I think me and Kaia need to break up." His eyes drooped sadly. I felt bad. But I also couldn't help but notice he said her name was Kaia, as in Kaia Gerber?
"Oh I'm sorry, I hope thing's get better.• I patted his shoulder as the car made a stop and we got out. He shook is head. "I don't wanna make you sad, let's enjoy the evening." He smiled softly then pushed the doors open to theater.
