TODAY was the first day of me going to work, I had a few days to adjust to being back in my hometown and now I was on my way to the set.
I had made a two piece outfit prior to being here for one of the actors here and I also had to go to fix up some of the stuff that I was asked to by Jeff Nichols the director of the film.
I parked my car away from the parking lot after going though the gates only because I figured it would be packed and I guessed right, I didn't even know who was gonna be in it besides one of my favorite actors Tom Hardy who shares a birthday with Gabbie which I always bug her about.
(A/N: Me and Tom actually share a birthday September 15th!!)
I walked up to the door and opened it which my hands turned red from how heavy it was, I was embarrassed on how weak I was. Like weaker than an ant. And ants are really strong,
Once I got in the cold air conditioning whipped my face with delight, this was so surreal. I was on a set for a film I would be working with actors, and one of my favorite actors!
I was so lucky I got accepted because they would only accept one fashion college intern and I couldn't fathom that they chose me.
But I soon got out of my trance as I felt a hand fall on my shoulders, and it was the man himself Jeff. "I'm glad your here!" He had a wide smile, and I returned it. "Of course. It's a privilege to be doing this, it's a dream of mine." I remarked, but after i said it I kinda felt sad. Knowing I've dreamed of this and I'm living it, and no one else could have an opportunity like this made me upset.
"Well I'm glad your living it." He walked beside me as he guided us further into the building. "I've heard amazing things from your college and how your the best fashion designer there, and I've seen your work. It's amazing." I was shocked by how he explained my dedication to this dream of mine, he said I was amazing.
I made a lopsided smile as we continued to walk and make a small conversation, then he made a stop at a long black door soon reaching out and opening it. Thankfully no one looked to see who walked in like I was in class but everyone continued doing what they were doing, I looked around to see all the actors and I noticed Tom.
I felt heat fill my cheeks, I didn't have a crush on him I just loved his work and now I was seeing him in the flesh. Jeff walked me further in the room to a empty table. "Wow.." I mumbled to seeing all these incredible people. When I sat down I heard a clink of a glass being hit and saw Jeff standing above me.
"Pardon me for interrupting your conversations but I have anew joining this journey of making this film, please welcome our intern for making costume designs Julie Lynn!" My eyes widened, I saw all heads turn to me and I felt my body shrivel like a rotten apple then everyone clapped with happy smiles.
