After a while of pacing to and fro in the room, Kendall decided to go downstairs.
She had to look around her environment, in order to find the perfect way to escape.
"There you are dear...come, have a seat", the old woman pulled out a chair, and the male came inside with a tray of tea and biscuits.
"I made this for you, come", he motioned.
Kendall cautiously walked down the stairs, raising her guard up and strengthening herself.
She had to be brave if she wanted to escape easily.
"I'm not eating that...."
The male paused, "What?"
She shivered slightly at his harsh tone.
"I-I said-"
"I heard what you said, you can't say no"
He stalked closer, pushing her unto the wall.
Her heart raced, she looked up at him, and pleaded with her eyes.
Something shiny caught her attention.
A skull headed key hung around his neck.
What is it for?
She questioned herself.
"I'm sorry"
He moved back, satisfied with her apology.
"Sit, we will tell you everything".
**
As she took her seat, she looked at the two with caution.
Mother and son, are there more children?
"Now dear, may we know your name?"
"Ashley", she lied.
The male stood behind her, and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"What are you- Ah!"
She cut herself off with a loud scream.
The male had squeezed her bruised shoulders, "Don't lie to us".
He squeezed even harder.
"K-Kendall! My name-"
He stopped.
"Now that was not so hard, was it my dear?"
Kendall trembled slightly and wiped the tears that threatened to go any further.
"Please..."
"Kendall....When we said that we found you here, it was not the whole truth", the old woman said.
"Then..."
"My son brought you here, he found you"
She looked up at him.
"No, not him, him"
Kendall felt the air suddenly chill.
She slowly turned, and her eyes widened in fear when she realised who was standing behind her.
Darling
Kendall screamed, moving back from the people who watched her creepily.
"No! Please!"
He came closer,trapping her.
He grabbed her hand aggressively, earning a loud scream from Kendall.
"Would you shut up!", He yelled, immediately silencing Kendall.
She still huffed and let out small sobs.
"I don't like it when they cry"
He looked over to his brother.
"Lock her up in her room, no food for 5 days"
