You can't break what's already broken

A new school

   I woke up ready for my first day of anew school! I got ready, while I was brushing my hair, I had remembered what my parents had told me and my brother, my mom said we had to be put into a hybrid-friendly school "unfortunately" yeah right, and my parents had always told us that 'hybrids shouldn't have free will' yeah, they were those types of people, me and my brothers had always known better

"Roman, Remus! You two ready?" Mom yelled

"Almost!" I replied as I finished brushing my hair, I walked to the living room

Time skip at school

I got out of the car with Remus and walked to the building, we walked to class, I adjusted my crown before walking inside, we were greeted by a loud class, there were three kids that caught my eye, one boy had brown hair with a purple fade, he had a black hoodie that looks like he tried to stitch a couple purple patches on it, he had his head down on his desk and a pair of headphones I presume he doesn't like the loud, he also had his hood up, the other boy next to him, he also had brown hair but he had a tip of orange he had a mask and gloves he also had a two headed snake logo on his gloves, the last boy was sitting next to the hooded boy and he was trying to talk to him, he had brown hair that was dyed half cyan, he had a baby blue shirt, he had a gray cardigan wrapped over his shoulders, he also had a logo on his shirt but his was a heart with glasses, and he was the only one of the three that had glasses

"Hello there" The teacher said looking at me and Remus "would you two introduce yourselves?"

"Sure" we both said "I'm Roman," I said putting my hand up

"and I'm Remus" My brother said as I put my hand down

"alright then, you two can sit next to, Patton and Virgil" The teacher Said as the two boys raised their hands as to show where they were, me and Remus walked over to our desks, The hooded boy kept his hand up, now that his head was off his desk I could see he had pretty clear eye bags, he looked at me and growled at me, I could see he has fangs too, the boy next to him the one with the gloves put his hand on the hooded boy's shoulder as if to calm him down, and it worked, he looked at him, took hiss headphones off, and put his head down on his desk again

after class

I walked out of class talking to Remus but then I caught of that hooded boy, he was sitting on the floor of the hallway with his headphones on, I told Remus to go find out our next class, so he did he ran off, and I walked over to the kid

"Hey, you ok?" I asked, he took his headphones off

"hm?" He tilted his head a little, I sat down in front of him

"Well, your head was down most of the class, and you seemed down, so I wanted to ask if you were ok" I replied the boy looked at me as I gave him a smile

"I'm fine" he said he sounded kind of pre-cautious but he's probably just used to not being liked by people like me "I have a quick question"

"Yes?" I replied looking at him

"Why are you and that Patton kid so nice to me and my brother?" He asked

"Well, I can't talk for patton but, for me, me and my brother were taught that we should treat everyone the same, and we know how people like you are treated so, I just wanted to be nice." I replied, I could tell he was confused

"People like me?" He said "oh, wait, how did you know?" He asked

"oh, I saw your fangs, if I may ask, what kind of hybrid are you?" I asked, he looked a bit hesitant to tell me

"I'm a spider, my brother Janus is a snake" he said

"oh, is that the boy with the mask that was sitting next to you?" I asked as I looked at him

"Yes, Janus Lockridge," he said looking to the side,

"and you are?" I asked wanting his name

"Virgil, and you?" He replied as he took his hood off

"Roman Sanders" I replied, I put my hand out intended for him to shake it but then I noticed he he was just looking at me "Oh, sorry, not a touchy person, huh?" Virgil shook his head "Well, nice meeting you Virgil!"

"I could say the same to you to, Roman" He replied with a small smile
