Jaxson pov
As I eat dinner with my parents my dad says " Jaxson you have to be an alpha and find your mate or else the pack will have no Luna".
"Don't you think I'm trying." " Well don't you think the other packs will think that your weak, that I'm weak for giving you the alpha position". He takes a break before saying "don't get annoyed at me now because that will show you have a weakness, you're short tempered". That just makes me more annoyed.
"So you're saying that I'm weak 'cause I will beat you up in an instance". "That is exactly what I'm saying". My dad actually looked sincere.

I'm still thinking about what my dad said earlier, I do think about going out to try and find my mate but it's not exactly easy. With me being the next alpha of Cresent moon and my father being in his 40s or 50s. I don't know what age he is, honestly.
The moon goddess would make sure the time is right when me and my mate meet. Right? My nightmare from the other night is why I need to find my mate. I need them.
I have a meeting with my father, the beta ( second in command) and my future beta Aaron. We're going over the packs allies and enemys. We're also going over boarder control and who's going at what time because Mark now has a child. The gamma ( third in command ) Mark now doesn't have enough time to do night duties any more.
Rose POV
"Rose, why haven't you done you're chores yet, " my mother if I can even call her that says. The truth is I'm in so much pain from yesterdays beating that I'm after staying in bed a bit longer.
"Get down here, you ulgy cow." I go downstairs to a mess. Everything is thrown around the house. I go to pick up the mop but a white hot pain runs up my back and spine. I cry out in pain. "Oh, shut up".
