It's a worldwide fact that Mondays suck.
They suck ass. But some part of me has a feeling that this Monday might not be sooo bad.

It's a particularly sunny day ,which is quite strange as It's been raining non stop this past few weeks. The air is still damp and the fields are super muddy but atleast the sun is out and the cold has pretty much dispersed.

Eli picks me up to go to school - as usual, and we end up chatting about random nonsense throughout the ride.

"So you're telling me you basically had a whole movie scene play out with a random dude on the way to my place?" Eli asks with his hands on the stirring wheel while occasionally turning his head to glance at me.

"Dont make it weird, you're so dramatic sometimes" I point out rolling my eyes at him.
"You should put that imagination of yours somewhere meaningful" I continue on.
"What, like English essays?"
"Like with someone that cares" I deadpan.
"Oh shut up, why would you tell me about all of that if you thought it was just a random meaningless encounter" he responds in a slightly mocking tone.
"Didn't know it was illegal to talk about 'random meaningless encounters' with out making it a big deal".
"And I'm the dramatic one" he says to himself.

"Your words and mine I guess" I giggle while he pretends to ignore me.

High-school is so many things. And It has different definitions to everyone. Some might call it hell or prison, and others might call it their own little sanctuary where they can escape their other problems. It's just a massive greenhouse that grows these fascinating little plants called 'teenagers'.

"Hey Theo".
"Oh hi Theo".
"Hello there Theo".
"Hiii Theodore".
And so on.
It's hard keeping up with all the greetings, not that I'm complaining, I'm pretty much used to it by now.

Theodore da Silva.
That's me. A fair amount of people know me for some reason and I'm fine with that. It has its pros and cons which I think pretty much balance each other out. Though even if they didn't balance, I can't exactly make people un know me. My best friends are:

Eli Maine, the captain of Iris Batch Academy's chearleading squad and everyone's friend and by everyone I mean EVERYONE's friend, from the junior grades to the oldest of the seniors, get on his bad side and well... I don't actually know because no one's properly pissed him off yet but I guarantee it's best not to try.

Samuel Reyes, one of the best players in the hockey team, moved here 3 years ago from the Philippines, the Academy's heartthrob and a raging bisexual. He's also really rich with like I don't know how many cars and a huge mansion (where he throws the most iconic parties- he gets into huge trouble with his parents because of them)

And last but not least Isabelle Alvarez (aka Izzie, to us),
Head of the event planning committee, classic fun party girl and is known for breaking hearts. It's not like she doesn't make it clear that she is not looking for a relationship, but she's like a magnet with a personality that is not so easy to manage but is definitely fun to be around.

I wouldn't know what to do without them to be honest. Don't tell them I said that.

"Stop what you're doing right now you ugly cows" Izzie exclaims as she shuts Sam's locker door close while Eli and I who are next to Sam laugh at her antics.
"Gee thanks and Izzie I was getting someth-" Sam whines but before he could finish she chimes in again.
"Yeah yeah we get it but like listen to this".
"I swear if it's not something urgent and actually important I'm gonna-"
"Babe shhhhh" she presses a finger to his lips.
"Chill, back to what I was gonna say before a certain nobody interrupted me"
"Narcissism isn't a personality bitch" he retorts as he slaps her hand away.
"Fuck you Sam"
"You wish huh"
Eli ends up having to break it off and then asks Izzie to continue explaining what she was on about previously.
"So I heard from a friend"
"Cough* hookup Cough*" Sam mutters through obviously fake coughs. Eli smacks him on the shoulder to shut him up which actually works.
"That there is a new student coming to our grade".
"That's pretty irrelevant" Sam adds in.
"You're ugly and irrelevant" Izzie responds.
"And they came all the way from England, can you imagine? Like what if they have a hot British accent." Izzie continues.
"Anddd now I'm interested" Sam beamed.

"You guys are so extra" I finally add in.
"Thanks" they both reply in unison which makes Eli and I laugh.

*The school bell rings.

"Guess it's time to go" Izzie complains and we all say our goodbyes before heading to our respective lessons.

As I'm walking I suddenly stop in my tracks. My ring is gone. I re trace the steps I took but it gets me no where.
I'm really starting to get frustrated here.
I drop to my knees in a last attempt. I'm now crawling in the hallway looking for my stupid ring that my dumb ass self dropped. Uhhh this day could literally not get worse.
I jinxed myself didn't I.

"Are you looking for this?".
