The birth of Emma

This is the start of my journey. I was being born at the moment, my mother is a gray common cat. She has some orange in her fur but I was the last one that was born my name is Emma! Emma Kelly to be honest, my owner's name I don't know yet. I can't see anything or smell or hear yet. Almost if I was dead but I'm not, I can still breathe. I have to wait a couple weeks before I can open my eyes I think. I can feel my mother licking my slimy fur to clean me. It feels a bit tingly, but I don't fuss like my other three siblings.

After a couple weeks i could finally see and I was crawling around. I finally found out my gender is a girl and one of my siblings that have white fur is a girl two! And the blackish grey one is my brother and my twin brother is orange like me. I got to see my mother for the first time also! She was a very fur-tty(pun intended) lady I could meow like my siblings to get our mothers attention and we even got to drink milk.

As I was crawling around a bit in the big bar box that we were in(a cage) a two-leg had walked up to us and opened the gate. The two-leg looked at us and we looked at them, they picked my siblings up and then me. I was meowing because I didn't know what to do. But then the two-leg talked to me and said, "I'm going to keep you. Your name can be-..."  They where silent for a moment before smiling softly at me and saying, "Emma" The two-leg took me into their palm and i meowed and my mother meowed telling me that the this two-leg was the nicest one out of the other two. So I went with the two-leg. The two-leg had sat on a big looking comfy box looking thing(a couch) and I got to sleep in their lap. And later on I learned so much from the two-leg. I learned their name was Rin, and they weren't called two-legs they where called humans! And the thing they say on was a couch, and they showed me everything and told me what they where and what to and what not to do! I learned so much that day but in the end my new friend had told me that they needed to sleep and so did I so they put me back in the cage with my mother and siblings and I told them all about my adventures I had around the place called a house.

I had a lot of fun that day as I curled up beside my mother and siblings. I knew my adventures weren't over yet.

The next day my friend came back, but it was a bit dark outside of the cage. They had something on their back they told me it was called a backpack. They said it was used to carry things around and go places. My friend said, "I need to go to school today so when I get home I can show you around the house later again! And I can show you what the outside looks like too. So be good for you mommy and me. Bye Emma." They said as they walked away slowly I didn't want my friend to leave yet I started to meow as they walked away. I my mommy told me my friend will come back soon and I just have to wait. So I did and during my wait I played with my siblings and my mommy and there was a bigger two-legged human, my friend Rin had said this human was their grandmother. If I'm correct, i didn't really know this human so I hid behind my mommy. The human then opened the cage door and patted my mommy on the head gently. My mommy purred and said that it was called a head pat. It's something a human does to show affection and it feels very nice.

I was curious on how good a head pat felt so I waited for my friend to come back and when they did and they held me I rubbed my head against their head and they gave me a head scratch it did feel great! I let out a soft quietish, purr as my friend Rin petted me. My mother really didn't lie, head pats where amazing! As Rin was petting me I seen her other human friend. I think Rin said that the human's name was Xavier. But as he got closer he asked where my eldest brother was. Rin told him, "Leo is in the cage still he's asleep though with his siblings and Grayce..." I didn't immediately understand what my human friend was saying to much all I know was they where talking about me eldest brother Leo, and Xavier just went to the cage anyway and opened it and grabbed my brother Leo. He was awake now and meowing. How annoying I was thinking. My human Rin just picked me up gently and started to walk towards outside. It was very bright outside today. And Rin just sat down in a big comfy chair that was on something called a porch.
