Evelina's POV
"Luciano?" I look up, shocked. "You weren't supposed to be here for another two weeks." I raise my eyebrows.
"I know Li, I missed you so much though. I wanted to surprise you." He pulls a slight smile. "Did you not want to see me?" He looks down, a bit upset.
"Hey, hey, hey. Of course I want to see you." I walk over and pull him into a hug. "You just shocked me, that's all." I chuckle.
"Oh thank god, you looked really disappointed for a moment." He mumbled into my shoulder.
"I love you, Luce. You know that." I whisper and pull back from the hug. "Dimmi, sei ancora single?" I raise an eyebrow, feeling curious.
"Li!" He raises his voice a little, "that's none of your business!" He slaps my arm a bit.
"Actually, as your older sister, it's all my business." I cross my arms. "Spill. Now child, now!" I stand with my arms still crossed, waiting for him to let out at least one sentence.
"There is this one girl-" he speaks but I interrupt.
"A girl? A girl? Tell me about her, now."
"If you would just let me finish!!" He sighs.
"Right, sorry." I chuckle awkwardly.
"She's British and works at the bakery I work at. She's ginger..."
"A ginger.. that's different. I like it!" I smile.
He chuckles slightly. "Her name is Jayli."
"That's unique. She sounds so sweet." I look at Luciano and nod my head. "Do you have a picture?" I ask.
"Yes, here, let me show you." He pulls out his phone.

"Holy shit!" I choke on my drink. "She's hot!"
"EVELINA!"
"Sorry, sorry." I shake my head. "She's British? Her last name doesn't seem British."
"How do you know her last name?" He shoots back.
I giggle to myself. "It says her Instagram in that photo, idiot." I flick his forehead.
"Oh... right." He chuckles awkwardly. "I think her grandparents are German." He nods, "But anyways, what about you? Are you still single?"
"Well- I- Eh- I don't know what's going on in that department at the moment." I laugh.
"So there is someone but you're not sure if they're right for you?" He asks.
"You're too good."
"I know right, learnt from the best." Meaning me.
"Her name is Rhea- I mean Demi. She's a professional wrestler." I begin explaining. "She came into the store the other day buying flowers for her girlfriend but came back again another day and was flirting with me, or at least I think she was flirting with me." I chuckle. "I kinda liked a picture of hers from 2015."
"Of course you did, stupid move, Li." He puts his head in his hands and looks up again.
"I don't know what to think of it anymore, she introduced me to some of her friends literally 20 minutes ago while dropping me home."
"Wait, she dropped you home!?" He gasps. "You told her you live like two seconds away, right?"
"Yeah!" I nod "she insisted on taking me home."
"Awe that's sweet, though." He smiles.
"Yeah..." i smile "Luci, I'm kinda tired though. Do you think we can talk more tomorrow?"
"Of course, see you, sorella."
"buonanotte, puzzolente." I chuckle and he gives me the finger.
I stand up and walk up the stairs.
As soon as I open my bedroom door, I run over to the bed and fall onto it. I groan into the pillow, my head was full of thoughts. Thoughts of her. Thoughts of Demi.
Thoughts of what it would be like if she was just fucking the shit out of me right now.
I shouldn't be thinking of that though. I shouldn't even be worrying about this. If only Jesus would just give me a sign.
My phone pings. I pick it up and see its a new number. Its rhea's. what could she possibly want now?
Hey, it's Demi. Evelina, right?
Yeah, that's right. You okay?
Yeah, just wanted to make sure that I got the right number.
Ahh, okay.
What you doing?
Just about to go to bed, my brother turned up two weeks early though, I'm very happy about that.
Aww, that's great to hear. I'm sure i will get to know all about him eventually.
What do you mean by that?

I put my phone back down and sigh. Was she playing with my feelings or did she genuinely have interest in me?
