You knew what you had to do to escape, and you were ready. It was nearly time.
You were 16 now... and you knew you were strong enough to get out of this place, but before you could even begin your plan, the door flung open, and a green haired man came stumbling in.
"Stay there!" A fishman roared and slammed the door shut. You stared at him blankly as he seemed to sort himself out.
You slowly grabbed the swords on your belt and got into position, keeping yourself at a distance, "So they finally brought somebody to kill me?!" The man finally looked up at you before holding his hands up to show the rope. You froze before relaxing. "They want me to kill you? No... arlong would have made me do it earlier..." You mumbled to yourself as you sheath your swords.
"Gonna help a guy out, maybe?" He had a calming voice...
"No? Why would I?" You smirked as you walked over and stared at him, examining him. "You're missing your shirt."
"I ran out, so I decided to wear bandages." He rolled his eyes.
"Weirdo." You mumbled before sorting out your belt, sliding your retractable bostaff into it. Ironically, Nami had 2 and ended up giving you one when she came back once... she never said anything about it and left it next to your side of the room before leaving. You never got the chance to thank her...
"Where are you going?"
"You stink." You mumbled, walking to the hole in the wall and slowly sticking your finger through it, starting to dislodge a brick.
"Sure, are you going to untie me now?"
"Absolutely not. You could always attack me." You mumbled before grabbing the bostaff and turning around, blocking the sword that was now pointed at you. "See?" The green haired man had grabbed one of your swords when you were next to him and had approached you while you were busy... he's clever.
"How do I know you won't attack me either?" He grumbled as he stepped closer. He must know you were already against the wall. Your bodies were pressed togheter, you could practically feel his wound against your chest.
"I would have killed you by now if that was the case." You smiled and took your sword off of him, sheathing it once again and then putting the bostaff away.
"You have an arlong tattoo just like Nami's." He mumbled, and you pushed him away to turn around.
"And?"
"You're part of his crew, so why aren't you killing me?" You gritted your teeth, just hearing that irritated you.
"You know nothing about me. Shut up."
"Alright then, you must know, Nami, I'm here to collect her." He sounded annoyed... but you weren't about to give away her position, nor yours.
You worked to dislodge another brick and another before the bird that normally comes landed on the slightly bigger hole, staring at you. "Chirp chrip!" You smiled.
"Thanks, birdie."
"You talk to animals?" The man was still standing behind you, but he had his arms crossed.
"You're too close, I can smell you."
"And I can smell you. Stop complaining and hurry up." That comment pushed you past your limit as you turned and swung at him, causing him to grab your wrist and push you against the wall. "Don't."
"Then shut up! Stop telling me what to do!" You growled, and the door swung open, Nami storming in.
"What the fuck..." She mumbled and both you and the green haired man looked at her, "Zoro get off of her!" Nami growled and threw 3 swords at him. He caught them and grinned.
