EVERLINE KNEW IT WAS HER FAULT. She knew it. She knew she could have done more, but she didn't, and she hated herself for it.
She stood there and watched as a bunch of founders dragged Josephina away. She watched them close the door, and she watched as they set it on fire.
And she did nothing. She couldn't.
She had lost her magic.
It was only til the next day when Emily Bennett had revealed what she had done for the vampires that were in the church.
She told Everline about the tomb and about the spell, and then, she gave the Emerson witch her magic back.
Everline, being cursed with anger, retaliated on the witches late gift. Everline had outed Emily bennett to the founders, with the help of Katherine peirce of course.
But after all her anger had died down, along with Emily Bennett, she was sad. So Everline then waited, for 145 years.
Now she stood in the center of mystic falls, her head tilted up at the sky as she watched the comet pass by.
