I felt myself thrown into a rusty kennel, Chloe with me. The man locked it and walked away. I laid your head on your paws, worry spreading through me, Chloe was clearly not as concerned though. "Where are we?" Chloe asked, looking around at the kennels with dogs, a male German shepherd in the crate next to us lifted his head. "You're in the dog fights." He muttered, before laying his head back down. "Dogfights? W-what? This is outrageous! I was born to shop, not fight! Unless it was at a sales rack." Chloe complains, I just shook my head in shame. "Stop whining, Princesa." The male German shepherd said, glancing over at us, "Chloe Winthrob Ashe does not whine." Chloe complained. "Dios mío..A delusional chihuahua..." The male German shepherd muttered under his breath, causing me to giggle a little. "You won't get any sympathy from Delgato, senorita, he's a gladiator." A male white and brown Pit-bull whispered to us, "A gladiator?" Chloe asked, confused. "You know, a fighter. Delgato's the best of the best." The pit-bull said. "Don't listen to Rafa, Chica. El Diablo's the meanest dog in the fights." A random dog called over to us, causing me to raise my head in curiosity of this "El Diablo". "Word is they fought once, and Delgato did not come out on top." The random dog states. "What's he saying?" Chloe asked, looking at the dog who was praying in Spanish. "Ay, bendito. He always prays before a fight. Don't you speak any Spanish, Chica, huh?" The random dog asked. "My name's Chloe, not Chica, and why would I speak Spanish?" Chloe asked. "Hello! You're a chihuahua, mi hija!" The random dog exclaimed. "So? I'm from Beverly Hills. You know, 90210, the shopping capital of the world?" Chloe said sassily, I just sighed in response to her tone, sitting up. "She's a gringa, from California." Delgato states, lifting his head, he glanced at me before looking back to Chloe. "That's right. The only reason I'm here is because I was stolen!" Chloe yapped; I feel myself getting annoyed that Chloe hasn't even looked at me the whole time we've been here. "You think I volunteered for this?" The random dog asked. "I'm a heiress." Chloe stated. "A hairless?" The pit-bull repeated, "No, a heiress." Me and Chloe said in sync, Chloe glanced at me before looking back to the pit-bull, "I have a trust fund." She said. "Look. If you're worth something, they'll ransom you. And if they ransom you, they won't fight you. So, I guess you have nothing to worry about." Delgato states, irritated. "Well, that's a relief." Chloe sighed, calming down, I just rolled my eyes in annoyance. "I'm so glad you feel better. Now can we get a little quiet around here?" Delgato asked sarcastically. "I can't wait until Viv finds out what Rachel's done...." Chloe said, I growled softly in response.
**Time Skip**
A man walked up to me and Chloe's cage, opening the door. "Oh. It's time someone upgraded my accommodations." Chloe complains. I feel anxiousness tighten my stomach, I flattened my ears, watching the man. The man grabs Chloe and shuts the cage, not taking me. "Oh no...." I muttered, Delgato glanced at me. "What am I going to do?" I whispered to myself, sitting down with my tail flopping miserably.
**A few moments later**
Loud and harsh barks sound from the arena. "Sounds like he's closing in..." The brown and white Pit-bull states. I stand up, pricking my ears. "Dog that size? Won't be much left of her." The random dog said. "Gringa...Gringa." Delgato muttered under his breath. I sighed, looking at the lock of the kennel. "She adios, she bye-bye." The random dog taunted. "Poor little hairless." The pit-bull sighed, the other dog started praying faster. "Okay, that's it." I growled, I stepped forward and grasped the lock in my teeth. "What are you doing?" Delgato sighed, "Huh?" The pit-bull questioned. I unlocked the kennel, pushing the cage door open and run out. I quickly unlocked Delgato's cage, knowing he'd be more than able to free the others. I push the door open, smacking the man in the face and running to the arena. Before I realized it, Delgato was racing towards the arena next to me. Delgato opened the rusty slide door. "Not again, Diablo." Delgato growled before slamming the door after Chloe ran out. "Move it!" Delgato yelled at Chloe. We all started running, Chloe struggling to keep up. "Wait, wait! You guys, slow down you guys! Slow down!" Chloe complained, trying to keep up. "Muévete!" Delgato yelled, "English, please!" Chloe called, "Move it!" Delgato barked. "This way! This way!" I urged, running in a different direction, "Okay! Okay!" she replied, chasing after. Chloe slowed down and stopped running. "My bootie!" She exclaimed in worry, "Your what?!" Delgato snapped confused, turning around. "Forget it!" I yelled, turning around as well. A group of men run up behind, shoving through the carts. "The chihuahua!" One of the men yelled. "Forget it?! That's Italian leather, missy!" Chloe called sassily. Me and Delgato ran over to her, Delgato snatched her by her scruff, we run in the opposite direction. "Go! Go!" A dog chants as we run away from the people. "Hey! Wait a minute! We won't fit!" Chloe exclaims from Delgato's hold. "We got it!" I yelled as me and Delgato jumped over the fence. "Oh, no. I lost another bootie." Chloe complains, to which I react with an eye roll but I continue to run.
