Names: Rhea and Raziel
Ages: 14 and 25
Genders: Female and Male
Pronouns: She/her and He/him
Sexualities: TBD for Rhea, but Raziel is Bisexual
Species: Moonshadow Elf Mix
Appearances: Image shown above. Basic appearance summary is Rhea and Raziel have slightly dark pale grayish purple skin, with Rhea having white long hair and yellow eyes. Raziel has a more light gray colored hair with some silver tips at the end of them and has a bit duller gold colored eyes. While both siblings have some markings on their bodies, Raziel is the one that adorns more on his body compared to his sister Rhea.Clothes: In picture above. I have no idea how to explain their clothes other then the fact that's the style Moonshadow elves wear...
Powers/Primal Source: Stars and Moon, although the younger sister Rhea seems to have a much larger connection to the Star Arcanum than with the Moon Arcanum itself. Raziel has an extremely close connection with the Moon Arcanum, but still occasionally brings the required materials or crystals needed just as a precaution if they're needed.
*Extra info: Raziel does have knowledge when it comes to Dark Magic himself (or as much as he's been able to gather on it), which will be explained later.Weapons: Raziel is efficient on close combat with dual blades and some knowledge in archery. He usually carries both as a precaution. While Rhea does have a smaller sword for a weapon, she's not efficient on using it and is still in the process of learning how to wield it efficiently with some pointers and tips from her brother whom tries to train her as much as he can.
Likes/Dislikes: Raziel does not take humans (especially human mages) in a high regard due to an unfortunate incident in his childhood. This makes it difficult for him to trust humans in general, and has made him wary of strangers. He also has a bad history and distaste for Dark Magic itself, but tries to give it an indifferent attitude or opinion with it depending on the circumstances of the situation. It still leaves a bad aftertaste or image in his mind though no matter how often he sees it. Therefore, while he might be a bit tolerant of it if he knows the individual has no ill-intent with it, he still shows some discomfort.
While Raziel might not admit it, he does enjoy spending time with those he is close to (even if he might seem a bit cold and distant for a while), but his small quirks that often peek out can often be seen from his subtle expressions and even tone of voice that sometimes slip up from his drop in facade. Anyone he comes to trust he will treat with respect and also protect from harm. However, make no mistake: while he might tolerate your company, there is still a strict boundary whenever it comes to his sister. It's wise to keep that in consideration with him, lest you want to end up being potentially impaled should there be any malicious intent.
Rhea enjoys the many mysteries of the world around her, sometimes exploring and wandering a little too far for her brother Raziel's own opinion. This fascination and curiosity means that she is still finding some things she likes and dislikes. While Dark Magic is a neutral zone for her, she has learned to be slightly distrustful with it due to some experience of witnessing it and from the constant warnings from her brother in regards to it. However, her biggest enjoyment is looking at the stars and the world that could potential exist beyond that. She also enjoys nature and the potential surprises it carries.
If there are any dislikes that Rhea has, then one of them would be the fact that she doesn't enjoy violence, especially with the potential sight of blood. Whether it has to do with her more cautious or gentle nature, anything regarding killing or wounds is a sure way to make the younger elf a bit squeamish and uncomfortable. While it might be possible for her to get desensitized to it over time, Rhea does not seem to have any positive aspects when it comes to the fact of taking a life with her own hands.
Personalities: Raziel often shows a tough and almost cold demeanor towards those he doesn't trust or know very well as a means of protection. While this makes him seem rude and insensitive, it is far from the truth once someone manages to slip through the potential mental barriers. Once he's grown a bit more accustomed or find of someone, Raziel might occasionally break his facade and show a small bit of emotion. Whether it be a faint amused smirk or the subtle change of his expression or voice, he has his own unique way with words and actions to show he cares. While it might take a while for him to loosen himself up completely to show his more gentler side, Raziel is fiercely protective of those he trusts and cares for.
Rhea, while a bit shy, is naturally curious. After the timidness wears off, it won't be long before she starts to follow someone around, asking away any questions she might have. While this can be a bit of a nuisance, her genuine tone and pure curiosity and determination can make her a bit stubborn. It might take a few attempts of deflecting or declining for her to finally relent for some time, but that won't deter her for long. Once she's gained an interest or fascination with something, Rhea isn't bound to let it go. Sometimes she has to be reminded that some people need some space and privacy, which she can sometimes forget about with some of her enthusiasm and intense desire to know more about something or someone. Even then, if Rhea starts to pick up cues that might make someone uncomfortable, the young elf will try to remember them so as to not reenact it—however, sometimes even she can forget.
Home: While Rhea and Raziel did live in a certain section a bit far into Moonshadow Forest, the location ended up being discovered and destroyed, forcing them to have to relocate to a different area and home to reside in with another group of Moonshadow elves.
Backstory: Rhea and Raziel were forced to flee their home due to a group of humans guided by a dark mage finding their location and proceeding to annihilate a majority of the Moonshadow elves that lived there around 12 years ago. While Raziel was fleeing with his younger sister, he happened to catch the sight of the dark mage after finding a hiding spot far enough away and witnessing the destruction that Dark Magic caused as well as the gruesome slaughter of the elves that resides there. Even while overcome with sheer terror and resentful anger, Raziel felt completely powerless that he was unable to do anything to prevent it, let alone be able to stop it. Since then, Raziel has sworn that he will not only make sure that him or Rhea don't have to witness such a tragedy yet again, but he also has a lingering yearning for vengeance on the very dark mage that caused the slaughter. Since then, Raziel has been trying to do everything he can to learn more about dark magic in a way to better prepare himself as a precaution so that he knows what enemy he will be facing. However, with this knowledge regarding Dark Magic, Raziel occasionally feels a temptation to delve into it or even use it himself. So far, he has managed to in a sense push those temptations at bay, but what's to say what might happen should he be at his wits end in a dire circumstance or situation where Dark Magic might be the only answer? Will Raziel be able to resist it or will he inevitably fall prey and channel it himself?
While Rhea doesn't remember most of what happened during that incident, she's not without her own troubles. Due to her having a much stronger connection to the Star Arcanum, Rhea finds it incredibly difficult to even use any Moon magic unlike the other Moonshadow elves. While her brother has tried to assist her, Rhea still has been unable to use them efficiently, and even though she wants to be able to use some form of magic, the very arcanum she's well connected to doesn't have anyone that is known to be able to assist with teaching her.
However, as of late, Rhea has been occasionally awakened, sometimes screaming in terror with potential "visions" or "dreams" that she describes as being "too real," indicating she might have a potential to see the future in small snippets, even sometimes going as far as to in rare occasions see some of these visions while awake and conscious—with little to no control of them. Not only that, but lately Rhea has mentioned to her brother Raziel that she occasionally speaks to someone in her dreams whom guides her with advice and even helps her with learning about the Star Arcanum itself. The question is, who is this individual that Rhea could be seeing?
