Height: 5'7''
Weight: Shi is considered more on the lean side due to the amount of intense work she's done in her human life. In other words, most of her body is a bit more muscular than normal to some degree.
Appearance: Shi has pale grey skin with semi-mid length black hair. She does in fact have two black horns that sprout from her head, which can sometimes make hiding them a bit difficult unless she wears some form of hooded cape. Her eyes are an almost dangerously intimidating looking yellow that's surrounded by the rest of the eyeball (or sclera) being a black color. Considering Shi doesn't exactly like too much color in clothing, she wears a black kimono of sorts and has a dark hooded cloak that's wrapped around it that she uses to at least cover her face to help herself blend in. Personality: Shi has a tendency to be a bit of what one could say mischievous yet also sadistic in nature to certain degrees. Considering her nature, it can be hard to tell whether she'll either at times mock/tease her victims to downright showing pity for them out of either sheer boredom or some other emotional matter. Due to this, it makes her lean towards a more chaotic neutral stance with the demons and even the demon slayer corps. If anything, while she doesn't completely take either side, she does find some amusement when messing with both parties when she wishes to find ways to cure her boredom. However, if she has a soft spot, it's more so towards those that she might have a small ounce of care or liking to, making it more likely for her to make certain decisions that she'd normally not even do unless on a whim (or from a possible similar situation that she's experienced herself. Although she won't admit it, she does have some form of sympathy and empathy in those situations) to either annoy another or for her own benefit(s).
Likes/Dislikes: Shi rarely tends to have likings towards individuals (unless for some unknown reason their strength or some other sorts catches her interest) due to her more solitude nature. However, she does have just a bit of a soft spot with Yuki and likes to tease her from time to time as a way of not only passing time but for her own amusement as well. While Shi might not admit it, she also just visits the younger demon just to spend some quality time with her considering she feels just a bit of pity for her lack of socialization with others. One thing Shi takes interest in the most however is anything new can quickly peak her interest for a short amount of time—especially when it comes to new devices of inventions or creations that humans tend to make considering she wants to figure out how the mechanisms work. She's at some points even...."borrowed" a few items by swiping them under others' own noses from time to time—whether it be from their own homes or just happening to find it on a victim that she found dead or that she killed herself.
While Shi doesn't exactly have a dislike towards Muzan, that doesn't mean she completely agrees with all of his actions regarding certain issues. She also has a bit of a hard time managing to deal with some of the demons and Upper Moons—especially Douma for that matter. If anything, Shi usually prefers to work alone rather than in a large group.(WIP)
Backstory: When Shi was still human, she worked with a group of assassins. She eventually got to the point that she was so used to her job that she had gotten a nickname to those she slayed, although the name behind it isn't really known on which one. Eventually, the group deemed her as a threat to themselves and basically betrayed her, forcing Shi to not only fight for her life by killing any of her fellow assassin allies, but also while trying to escape in the process. While she succeeded in murdering a good majority of them, she was badly wounded and poisoned on top of that.
While nearing the limits before her body succumbed to the poison, she happened to notice a rather pale figure approach, which she was quick to lash her anger out on and calling out the organization (with a variety of insults to boot) she worked with for sending another person just to finish her off. Not wanting to die lying down, Shi used the last remainder of her strength to rush forward to try and attack the figure in an attempt to kill him before she fell herself. Unfortunately, she never recalled if she even managed to hit her target considering she was quick to black out soon afterwards. When she came to, she found herself to be very much alive. Death's Premonition - Upon making eye contact with an individual, Shi is able to "see" how that individual might meet their demise (although the clearness of the image of the vision can vary from person to person). The clearer and more detailed the image is, the closer the death is to possibly approaching. *This does not mean that the death is set in stone however. One's death could be averted, regardless of the vision Shi might see. However, this ability is not able to foresee the own user's death*
Death's Aversion - Using Shi's own energy and strength (or in this case, it could be considered life-energy in a way) to in turn stall an individual from succumbing to their wounds and dying in the process for an extended period of time. *This ability is only guaranteed to allow a person to completely avoid death once, so there's no guarantee with it keeping them from death a second time! The more energy/life-energy applied to the person, the longer the extended time period. Depending on how severe the injury, the amount of energy or life-force it takes to very second or minute can differ immensely*
Death's Shadow Warp - Allows Shi to basically travel or "teleport" to areas using anything that has a layer of shadow or shade. This can be used also as a sort of evasive technique to remain hidden from her enemies. *While inside the shaded area, Shi can easily move around from place to place rather quickly but must find another shaded area in order to exit and reappear. The farther away the nearest shadow is, the more energy it takes up to move. Therefore, using it at night doesn't put too much of a strain considering the amount of shadows is considered almost unlimited, but much more focus is needed to exit in one piece because of this*
Scythe of Death - By manipulating shadows, Shi can morph them into the shape of a scythe and use it to attack as a form of a weapon. While it can deal some minor injuries to physical forms and be used to block attacks, it's much more deadly when in use of attacking another person's shadow. *In other words, it's almost a blunt weapon when used any other way than what it's intended purpose is—cutting shadows. The scythe MUST make contact with the shadow of the individual to deal any damage, however, and is practically almost useless if there isn't a prominent shadow figure that's able to be manifested*
Presence of the Dead - Considering Shi had a bit of a Sixth Sense, she is able to sense spirits of the deceased that have died to some degree. If the location is bad enough, she can also sometimes hear their voices, and in rare cases, even see their transparent bodies. *This is a passive ability that cannot be turned off. A majority of the time, Shi can only 'sense' the aura or presence. The more intense it is, the easier it is for Shi to pick it up from her other senses such as sight and hearing*
