As Isabelle prepared to leave, a sense of bittersweet parting filled the air. She stood at the door, her gaze encompassing the faces of those she had come to know during her stay in the mansion. Gratitude filled her heart, and she couldn't help but express it.

"Thank you all for everything," Isabelle began, her voice sincere and filled with emotion. "For treating me with kindness, for the meals, and for letting a doctor check on me when I was hurt. I won't forget your hospitality."

Catalina, with a warm smile, replied, "You're always welcome here, dear. Don't hesitate to visit whenever you like."

Chattercup nodded in agreement, his eyes sparkling with friendliness. "Yes, you're a friend now, and friends are always welcome."

Lena, though present, remained quiet, her thoughts seemingly distant.

Isabelle continued, "And please, pass on my gratitude to Vincent as well. We may not have had the best start, but he never once wronged me."

With kind words and well-wishes, they bid Isabelle farewell. Martin, the ever-helpful servant, assisted her with her belongings, making sure she was comfortable before they set off.

As Lena pondered the rapid progression of the story and the missing pieces that hadn't fallen into place, she couldn't help but feel a growing sense of frustration. The narrative she had crafted in her book had its own pace and rhythm, one that was carefully designed to build tension and relationships among the characters.

In her original tale, Isabelle's departure was postponed, allowing time for her to form a deep bond with the prince. It was during a lunar eclipse, a pivotal moment, that their connection would be tested, and Isabelle would eventually leave out of shame for having seen the prince's cursed form.

However, the current circumstances in this altered reality didn't align with her story. Isabelle's departure had come abruptly, and the bond between her and the prince had not yet reached the level Lena had envisioned. This departure threw off the carefully planned progression of events.

Furthermore, Lena's own quest to find Vida was also hitting roadblocks. In her story, she had used a moon creature during a lunar eclipse to reach the sorcerer. This came at a cost of half of her life, a sacrifice she was unwilling to make in this new reality. Instead, she had hoped that Lucian could assist her in finding Vida, but he seemed to be missing in action, unresponsive to her summons.

The pressure and confusion were taking a toll on Lena's mind, leaving her with a persistent headache. She couldn't shake the feeling that the story was spiraling out of control, and she needed answers, fast.

Lena decided to go back to her room, but before that, she knocked at the door of Vincent but he didn't answer. She's thinking he must still feel bad about what happened.

She went back to her room. Tried to Summoned again Lucian but he didn't appear.

With a sigh, she just cleaned up and prepare her bed.

When she was slowly drifting to sleep, a familiar figure appeared.

''Hi.'' He greeted her with a smile on his face.

Lucian's unexpected appearance in her room drew a mix of surprise and annoyance from Lena. His enigmatic behavior continued to perplex her, and it seemed he had his own agenda in choosing when to show up.

"You appear when I don't call you, and you don't when I do. You are crazy," she accused him, her frustration evident.

Lucian couldn't help but chuckle at her accusation, his grin never faltering. It was clear that he found amusement in testing her patience.
