MELODY'S HOME
(A few days have passed since Melody's encounter with Gideon. Despite her determination to help him, she hasn't been able to find him since their first meeting.)
MELODY
(To herself)
Where could he be? I promised to help him, but I can't do anything if I can't find him.
(Melody spends her days searching for Gideon, visiting the abandoned building and asking around town, but no one seems to know anything about the mysterious Gooey Man.)
ABANDONED BUILDING -
(Melody returns to the abandoned building, hoping to find some clue that might lead her to Gideon.)
MELODY
(Frustrated)
There has to be something here. I can't just give up on him.
(Suddenly, Melody discovers a hidden room in the building, filled with scientific equipment and documents left behind by Gideon's parents.)
MELODY
(Excited)
This must be where Gideon's parents conducted their experiments. Maybe there's something here that can help me find him.
(Melody starts to investigate the room, searching through the documents and trying to piece together the events that led to Gideon's transformation.)
MELODY'S HOME - NIGHT
(As the days turn into weeks, Melody becomes increasingly obsessed with finding Gideon and helping him. Her friends and family start to worry about her, but she remains focused on her mission.)
MELODY
(Determined)
I won't give up on you, Gideon. I know we'll meet again.
