"Little by little
Day by day
What is meant for you
Will find it's way"

Taehyung and I had spent the entire day cleaning up the mess we had created in the garden. Covered in dirt and exhausted, we decided it was time to call it a day and get some much-needed rest. Our bodies ached from the physical labor we had put in. We settled down in my bedroom and soon drifted off to sleep.
Unbeknownst to them, while they were deep in slumber, time flew by, and it was now evening. Taehyung, roused by his thirst, awoke to find it was already 8 o'clock. He gently nudged Naya, who was sleeping soundly like a pig, to wake her up.
Taehyung whispering "Naya, wake up. It's already 8 o'clock, and I'm really thirsty."
I stirred from my sleep, rubbing my eyes and trying to make sense of the situation.
I said yawning "Huh? What's the matter, Taehyung?"
"We overslept, and I need something to drink. Let's go downstairs to get some water. Oh, and there's someone sitting and talking with your dad." Taehyung Said while pointing towards hall.
I'm now fully awake, followed him downstairs where we found my dad engaged in a conversation with a quiet familiar person. I'm feeling slightly bewildered but still parched, quickly poured myself a glass of water.
"Hmm, Dad's friend must have come over". I said looking to that person.
The two of us exchanged a curious glance but proceeded quietly to avoid interrupting the conversation. But my father's friend saw me and called me.
My heart skipped a beat as I heard my dad's friend, Mr. Kapoor, calling to me for talk. I turned towards him with a surprised smile, clutching a glass of water in my hand, with Taehyung silently following behind me.
"Namaste, Uncle Kapoor!" I greeted him warmly. "It's been a while since we've seen each other. What brings you here today?"
Mr. Kapoor chuckled and replied, "Namaste, beta. I came here to invite your family for my daughter's wedding. We've been friends for so long, it's only natural that we celebrate this joyous occasion together."
I nodded, sipping my water as I tried to contain my curiosity. It was clear that Mr. Kapoor had something more on his mind, so I decided to play along.
"That's wonderful, Uncle Kapoor," I said, feigning innocence. "Congratulations to your daughter! I hope the wedding preparations are going well."
Mr. Kapoor smiled warmly, looking at me with a twinkle in his eye. "Thank you, beta. Everything is in place. But you know, Naya, after my daughter's wedding, it will be your turn."
My eyebrows shot up in surprise, my mind racing with questions. Why is my wedding suddenly a topic of conversation? I couldn't help but let a mischievous smile creep onto my lip.
"Oh, Uncle Kapoor, my wedding? Well, there's still a lot of time for that," she replied, somehow managing to keep a straight face. "I'm in the process of finding someone compatible with me, you know?"
Mr. Kapoor beamed, delighted with my response. "Of course, beta. Take your time. But mark my words, when the time comes, we will have a grand celebration. You deserve nothing less!"
I chuckled softly, my thoughts turning to Taehyung, who was still invisible to everyone except me. If only Mr. Kapoor knew the truth about my unique friendship and the unexpected turns life had taken.
