1. The Horror Movie

"What? Are you serious? Congratulations beta",Tulsi said as her eyes got glistened due to tears of joy.

"Mom, this is literally so overwhelming and I don't know how am I going to manage all these responsibilities and how will I do all the things after this? I hope I won't add up more work to you, what if I become more lazy and no no",Sahana was blabbering what all came to her mind.

"Sahu beta, calm down!Everything will happen good and how can you even think of troubling me and if there is someone who is lazy then it's none other than my son and not you",Tulsi said and Sahana giggled wiping her tears and Tulsi wiped her tears too quickly.

"You take rest, and lay down. I will get the dinner here only",Tulsi said.

"No no mom, I will come. Khushi is also here it won't be good making her eat alone. Mom, we'll tell it to everyone after I tell it to Pranav please? I want to see how he reacts, I hope he wants this and doesn't abandon me or ask me to-",Tulsi cut her off.

"Sahu, Sahu, calm down dear. Don't think much and if he talks about anything like that, you hold his ear and bring him to me. I will make him regret everything that he said, if he is Pranav then I am Tulsi",Tulsi said and both of them broke into fits of laughter.

Both of them further went down stairs to the dining table and Sahana went to Khushi's room to call her for dinner.

"Khushi, come let's have dinner",Sahana said normally as if she wasn't tensed just some time ago. Khushi nodded and both of them went to the dining table.

Ramu kaka, made dinner for the day since all of them weren't home. He made Pulao, aloo curry and paranthas.

"Khushi, is it okay? Will you have these or do you want me to cook something else?",Sahana asked.

"No no akka, I am good with this don't worry! All good",Khushi said and gave her a small smile as they dug into the meal.

The ladies of the home finished their dinner in complete silence and then went back to the living room to pass time as the men come back home from office, so they decided to watch T. V till then.

"Mom, put some horror series or movie or something that is horror please",Sahana said and Khushi's face lost colours, she was scared of horror movies and she didn't find it appropriate to say when she was here as a guest. She just gulped and sat there.

"Khushi, do you also like horror movies?",Sahana asked excitedly and Khushi just nodded not knowing how to save herself from this situation.

"Yes, play this movie Mom. This will be good",Sahana said.

"You both watch the movie, I am scared of it and if I watch it and get scared in the night even your father in law isn't here to accompany me. Spare me from this Sahu, sorry beta! Khushi will accompany you till your dear husband comes, okay?",Sahana pouted sadly and nodded.
