"Merry Christmas!!!"

Jisung was woken up by his brother jumping onto him. The boy groaned loudly and pushed Jihyun off of him.

"Get off me" Jisung spoke groggily as he was mad for being woken up. Jihyun mimicked his tone before laughing "You're not gonna be in a bad mood on Christmas are you?"

"I will be if you keep up your act" Jisung glared. Jihyun rolled his eyes "Alright sour face, come on, I wanna eat breakfast"

Jisung sighed as Jihyun moved to the door. "And you're actually so hopeless" He turned back to his little brother. Jisung furrowed his brows as he went to grab his phone.

"What do you mean?" He asked. Jihyun smirked "Calling your boyfriend to listen to his voice so you can sleep?" He replied. Jisung's eyes widened.

"Why... Why were you listening!!" Jisung got up from his bed and walked over to his bedroom door where Jihyun stood. "Actually fuck off!" He shouted.

Jihyun laughed and started making kissing noises. "Keep talking Minho~" He teased before Jisung shouted at him again, his face burning red.

"What on Earth are you two doing!"

The brothers turned their heads and looked down the hallway to see their mother standing there in her gown.

"I was waking up Jisung" Jihyun replied. Jisung rolled his eyes at this and folded his arms.

Their mother furrowed his brows. "Is that why you were shouting Jisung?" She asked sternly.

Jisung scoffed and looked away from his gaze.

"He was actually telling me about his phone call with his boyfriend last night" Jihyun quickly added. Jisung's eyes widened. "You fucking-"

"Han Jisung" His mother cut him off. Jisung looked at her "Mom! He was listening in on my conversation with my friend!"

"I don't care, stop fighting" She turned around to walk downstairs. Jisung glared at his brother. Jihyun sent him a flying kiss. "You are fucking dead" Jisung mumbled.

Jihyun laughed again. "Well sorry you're desperate to fuck your boyfriend-"

"HYUNG!"

Jisung never really liked Christmas. Especially at his house.

Sure he enjoyed it when he was with his friends but spending it with his family was awful. It was always a silent dinner at noon and then after that Jisung's dad had to go to his office in their house and work there for the rest of the day.

There was no time for Christmas when it came to his family. The bare minimum was a family dinner which was in dead silence.

No celebration, no talking. Silence.

Jisung hated eating at the table when it came to it. He thought if he ate too loud he'd be told to be quiet so eating was a fear when it came to Christmas Dinner.

So here he was pushing around the vegetables on his plate as his family ate quietly around him. "Jisung, you're not eating your food"

Jisung glanced over at his mom and nodded before taking a bite to eat. "Sorry" He mumbled.

"You should be grateful your mother cooked that for you" His dad interjected. Jihyun looked between their parents and only began to really notice the attitude they had towards Jisung.

He didn't like it.

Jisung bowed his head lower "Sorry" He mumbled again. His dad sighed and finished eating a piece of steak he had. "What else are you sorry for at this rate Jisung!?" He exclaimed sick and tired of Jisung's attitude.

Jihyun stopped eating as he heard their dad speak up. He swallowed back and shuffled awkwardly in his seat.

Jisung tensed up. "You're never happy! Even on Christmas!" His father continued. Jisung kept his gaze low.

"You know we're busy, why can't you just be like Jihyun and enjoy the-"

"That's enough" Jihyun cut him off. Jisung didn't move or lift his head. Now eyes were on Jihyun.

"Jihyun, stay out of this please sweetie" Their mother smiled. Jihyun furrowed his brows at how utterly stupid this was "I'm present, so I am involved"

He looked at his dad who looked at him surprised by his words. "Can you both just leave Ji alone? What has he even done to you to constantly drag him down?" He asked calmly.

Jisung started to stratch at his thigh.

"We just don't want his life to turn out for the worst Jihyun" His mother spoke up first. "It's our duty as parents" His father added

Jihyun glared at him. "So your duty is to belittle him and compare him to his brother?" He asked in return. Jisung breathed heavily as the conversation continued.

Jihyun placed a hand on Jisung's shoulder making him look at him. "Go upstairs Ji" He smiled.

Jisung nodded and left the table more than happy to have left.

"What nonsense are you talking about Jihyun!" Their father spoke. "You're the best example of what Jisung should look up to! We're only reminding him"

Jihyun couldn't believe it. All these years and he hadn't caught on to the fact that his little brother was compared to him in every aspect.

"He's already off track from where he needs to be anyway, you know.. At least his education is still a chance to improve his image-"

"Are you on about him being bisexual?" Jihyun cut his mother off. The women's face was shocked and her eyes widened slightly as she didn't think Jihyun would catch onto the meaning behind her words.

"Well it's not exactly a great look for the company" His father mumbled. "If Jisung walked into a meeting with a man... There would be looks" He added.

Jihyun couldn't actually believe it. "Are you actually serious? Are you both hearing yourselves!?"

"Jihyun, sweetie.. You know that it wouldn't be taken so lightly-"

"Who fucking cares!!" Jihyun stood up. "You're Jisung's parents too, not just mine" He exclaimed.

"You should fucking support your child just as must as the other" He added on in rage. "Do you ever fucking think to yourself how fucking hard it is to not only come to terms with your sexuality but be outed!?" He raised his voice.

Jisung was sat at the top of the stairs listening in. He had tears falling onto his cheeks but he held a soft smile knowing that his brother stood with him.

He hated himself for thinking Jihyun wasn't a supportive brother before.

"Jihyun enough with this" His father raised his voice. Jihyun stood his ground. "You never thought about your sexuality, have you?" he asked. "I never did, mom didn't either but Jisung has"

Jihyun sighed and looked at his plate. "Jisung can like who he wants just like anyone else can" He threw his arm up in need to release tension.

Their mother stayed quiet through the entire fight. Until now, she stood up and walked out of the room.

"Now look what you've done!" His father shouted. Jihyun scoffed "You know what dad, compared to all the shit you've put Jisung through.. This isn't anything to be pissed about" He threw his napkin onto his plate and pushed his chair further away from his body.

"Merry Christmas, dickhead" He scoffed before leaving his father in the dining room.
