Chapter 6

(Ciel's POV)

I run to the kitchen, bursting open the door. Sebastian doesn't flinch.
"Breakfast will be done momentarily. No need to rush," he says, cracking an egg.
"She's marrying Alois Trancy!" I scream at him, with angry tears running down my cheek. At that, Sebastian turns. His eyes flash pink and the other eggs drops to the floor.
"And she's going to see him in tomorrow!" I sob. My will is slowly breaking. I fall on my hands and knees. The thought of my..my ________, marrying my mortal enemy is unbearable. I love her. I would do anything for her. I was breaking off the engagement to marry her. She was gorgeous and kind, and she's all I ever will love. Another sob escapes my throat. Sebastian kneels down to my level.
"It pains me, too. More than I show.?Maybe you can convince her to break off the engagement?" Sebastian ask. I look up at him and swing at him. Of course he dodges.
"So what? You can take her!? I know you have feelings for her! You're a bloody demon and you love a mortal! Pathetic!" I yell in a jealous rage. "Go tell her I won't be joining her, that I have to respond to some important letter."
Sebastian nods and leaves. I dash to my study. I slam the door. I lose all purpose to stand. I collapse to the ground, not even making it to my desk. I sob, I sob like some...kid. It hurts. It hurts more than when I made the contract. What am I going to do?
"What am I going to do?" I sob into the floor.

(Your POV)

"I am afraid that Master Ciel won't be rejoining you," Sebastian says.
Tears well in my eyes. "Is it because of me? Is it because of me being engaged to Alois?" I ask.
He nods. "I fear, that sadly, you may have broken young master's heart. He had feelings for you. He was breaking off his previous engagement to have a relationship with you. He had deep feelings for you, ma'am. My will is also crumbling, _________. I... love you,"
The thought of the strong Ciel crumbling at my words and Sebastian's pain causes me to cry. Sebastian comes close and holds me tight.
"How'd you react?" I sniff.
"I was killed on the inside, but that does nothing to my love for you. Nothing can change that. "
I only hold him tighter. He rests his head on mine. I don't look until I stop crying. When I do, Sebastian's ruby eyes are staring into mine. Without warning, he presses his lips to mine. His lips move gently, as though he's afraid of hurting me. He slowly pushes me away.
"Once, I only needed once," he whispers.
"Where is he Sebastian?" I ask.
"His study. I'll take you."
I follow him to the doors of Ciel's study. Sebastian knocks.
"I have something for you," Sebastian says.
"Leave it outside!" I hear him yell hoarsely." No, bring it in. In matter of fact, take my soul now! I don't need it. End my life, demon!" He yells.
I freeze and look at Sebastian.
"Demon?" I ask. He sighs.
"I...am a demon. I made a contact with Ciel. I get his soul when the contract expires. His eye is his contract mark. The purpose of the eyepatch is to hide it." Then, he looks fearful. "I hope this doesn't change how you feel about me."
"Sebastian, I could never not love you. You would have to kill me."
