In Transfiguration class, Draco and Harry were both thinking about the ball the night before. It had been everything they'd hoped for and more. For the first time, they'd finally been able to express their feelings for each other, and the dance had been magical.

As the two friends sat next to each other in class, they found it hard to focus on the lesson. They couldn't stop gazing at each other, and every time their hands brushed against each other, they felt a jolt of electricity.

As the professor droned on, the two boys whispered to each other, giggling like teenagers in love. They were so caught up in their own world that they didn't realize that everyone around them was staring.

"Silencio!" Professor McGonagall exclaimed, silencing the room. "What in the world do you two think you're doing?"

Draco and Harry looked up, suddenly aware that they'd been caught red-handed. But instead of feeling embarrassed, they felt a rush of excitement. They were in love, and they didn't care who knew it.

"We were just goofing off," Harry explained to the professor with a wicked grin. "We were lost in thought."

"Lost in thought?" McGonagall asked. "What kind of thought could be so important that you'd forget to pay attention in class?"

Draco and Harry exchanged a look, and then simultaneously said, "Each other."

Suddenly, the entire classroom was filled with gasps and murmurs. It was rare for anyone to ever be so honest in front of the whole class, and the two boys couldn't help but feel proud of themselves.

Professor McGonagall looked at them with a mix of shock and amusement. "Well, I must say, that's a first," she said, shaking her head. "But as long as you promise to pay attention from now on, I won't say another word."

Draco and Harry grinned at each other, feeling like they had just won the lottery. To have their feelings for each other validated in front of the entire class was the most amazing thing they could have ever hoped for.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of Transfiguration class, Draco turned to Harry with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Come with me," he whispered, grasping Harry's hand and leading him out of the room.

The two boys hurried down the corridor, keeping a lookout for any professors or fellow students who might notice them. They were feeling giddy with excitement, knowing that they were finally able to spend some alone time together.

As they reached the empty bathroom, Draco turned to Harry with a serious look on his face. "I need to talk to you about something," he said, his voice low.

Harry nodded, feeling his heart race with anticipation. He knew that Draco had a reputation for being blunt and straightforward, but he couldn't help but wonder what he was going to say.

Draco took a deep breath, and then started speaking. "I just wanted to tell you how much I care about you," he said, his eyes never leaving Harry's. "I've never felt this way about anyone before, and I want you to know that you mean the world to me."

Harry's heart swelled with emotion as he listened to Draco's words. He had always known that Draco had feelings for him, but he had never heard him express them so clearly before.

"I care about you too," Harry said, feeling tears well up in his eyes. "You've been my rock throughout all of this, and I don't know what I would do without you."

Draco smiled, feeling like he had finally said what he'd been wanting to say for so long. "I'm just glad we can be honest with each other," he said, his voice full of emotion. "And I promise that I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

Harry nodded, feeling like he had just made the most important breakthrough of his life. He had always known that Draco was more than just a friend, but he had never been able to admit it aloud before. Now, he knew that they were on the same page, and nothing could ever come between them.

As they made their way out of the bathroom, hand in hand, Harry knew that he had found the one person who truly understood him. He was ready to face anything that came their way, as long as Draco was by his side.

As the boys left the bathroom, they were greeted by the sound of laughter coming from a nearby corridor. They both knew they had to act fast, before they were caught.

"Meet me in the library after dinner," Draco whispered, as they parted ways. "And make sure no one follows you."

Harry nodded, feeling a rush of excitement run through him. He had never felt so alive before, and the thought of spending time with Draco outside of class made him feel like he was on top of the world.

As soon as dinner ended, Harry raced to the library, taking a few detours to make sure he wasn't being followed. He was surprised by how quiet the library was, and how empty the shelves seemed. It seemed like every Hogwarts student was busy with classes, studying or preparing for exams.

As he made his way to the back of the library, Harry spotted Draco at one of the tables, surrounded by a mountain of books. He waved at Harry, beckoning him to come over.

Harry felt his heart rate quicken as he made there way there. It was just the two of them, alone in the library, with nothing but their thoughts to keep them company.

Draco looked up at Harry, and for a moment, the room seemed to disappear around them. It was just the two of them, two friends who had become so much more than that.

As Harry sat down across from Draco, the tension in the room was palpable. Neither of them said a word for a while, and Harry couldn't help but admire the way that Draco was pouring over the books in front of him.

Finally, after what seemed like ages, Draco spoke up. "I hope I'm not interrupting you," he said, his voice low and serious.

Harry laughed nervously, feeling like his voice wouldn't work. "Not at all," he managed to say, his voice barely above a whisper.

Draco took a deep breath, and then spoke again. "I just want you to know that I care about you, Harry," he said, his eyes never leaving Harry's. "More than you'll ever know. And I want you to know that I'll always be there for you, no matter what."

Harry felt like all the air had been sucked out of his body. He had never imagined that Draco felt so strongly about him, and he felt like he was floating on a cloud. "I feel the same way about you," he said, his voice shaking slightly.

Draco smiled, feeling like he was on top of the world. He had never felt so close to anyone before, and he knew that he never wanted to lose that feeling.

As they sat there in the quiet of the library, surrounded by books and knowledge, they both felt like they were the only two people in the world. It was a feeling that they both knew they would hold onto for the rest of their lives.

With a final glance at Harry, Draco turned back to his books, feeling like he was finally home. Harry watched him for a moment, feeling like his heart was about to burst out of his chest. He knew that he had found the friend that he had always been looking for, and he never wanted to let him go.

As they both returned to their studies, they both felt a new sense of determination. They knew that they would always have each other, no matter what the future held. And in that moment, in the quiet of the library, surrounded by books and knowledge, they both felt like there was nothing in the world that could ever come between them.
