The afternoon was chilly, like every day. But for an odd reason, it seemed much colder. The yellow Guardian couldn't explain why. But he could explain the overwhelming negativity in the air. Nightmare. He had to be the cause of the negativity.

If he wasn't, someone who was very strong was the source. But the yellow Guardian had his bets on Nightmare. Since Nightmare was his total opposite.

A familiar guardsman slipped through the crack of the door, greeting the yellow Guardian with a grin. "HELLO YELLOW ME!" The guardsman spoke, walking up to the yellow Guardian.

The yellow Guardian smiled, tearing away the worry of the increasing negativity. "Greetings Swap." The yellow Guardian greeted back, wiping away the sweat from his forehead. He'd question it later. For now, he could distract himself.

The guardsman moved to another stance; his hands on his hips, with a tilt of his hips. It almost looked like metaphorical sparkles would appear around as his cape flew in nonexistent wind.

The yellow Guardian couldn't help but feel a load of positivity bubble inside his chest. He enjoyed Swap's enthusiasm. Even as a Sans, therefore he had some moments with doubt and laziness. But he was mostly a positive monster. A good addition to the crashing multiverse.

He created a sense of comfort to the yellow Guardian. It made his apple-like soul jump with joy every time Swap smiled.

"HOW ARE YOU TODAY, MY FRIEND?" Swap questioned, taking a seat beside the yellow Guardian. He didn't really receive an answer. The yellow Guardian only shrugged his shoulders. "DREAM?" Swap questioned again, laying a hand on Dream's shoulder.

Dream sighed, lying his hand on top of Swap's. "I.. I am fine Swap. You don't need to worry about me." Dream assured Swap. He didn't want Swap to think negatively of the situation.

Swap tilted his head. "I DO NOT MEAN TO SOUND... NEGATIVE. BUT, DO YOU FEEL THAT TIGHTNESS IN THE AIR?" Swap asked, putting a hand to his chest. "IT GETS HARD TO BREATHE SOMETIMES." Swap admitted, rubbing his chest tenderly.

Dream hummed, thinking to himself. "It is that bad? Hum... I say the culprit is Nightmare. He is a powerful source of negativity. It can affect someone quite physically and mentally." Dream explained, moving his hand off Swap's. He entwined his fingers, looking down at the tiles of the floor. "He is pretty sadistic, so it is possible."

Swap tapped his foot onto the floor, scowling. "THAT IS A POSSIBILITY, YES." Swap agreed, crossing his arms over his chest. Dream rubbed his temples, flopping backwards onto the bed. "But why must he emit this much negativity at this time? There is a festival tonight." Dream tried thinking of the reasoning. Nightmare chose a specific time, but what was his plan?

Swap hummed, laying next to Dream. He laid a hand on his friend's shoulder. "EVEN SO, WE SHOULD GET READY FOR THE FESTIVAL!" Swap exclaimed. Dream grinned, exhaling softly. He nodded to Swap, agreeing with him. "Yeah. We should."

Dream removed himself from the bed, patting down his overwear. "Just for an ideal for fashion, what do you expect to wear?" Dream asked Swap. He wanted to know what he should wear. It was a festival after all.

Swap looked happy to explain. "IT IS A MASKED FESTIVAL!! THE OUTFIT IS UP TO YOU, BUT YOU MUST WEAR SOME KIND OF MASK. LIKE A MASQUERADE! NOTHING STUPID!" Swap explained, sitting up on the bed. He put his hands on his hips, bouncing off the bed. Dream understood easily.
