Jackson Whittemore hit his car door on Scott's Lacrosse stick in the parking lot, "Dude. Watch the paint job."

"Yo, Jackson. Let's go, bro." Some jock lacrosse player shouted from about twenty feet away. As he walked off, he shot daggers at Jade's twin. Scott had no idea what he had done to make Jackass, sorry, Jackson, hate him, but frankly, he didn't care one bit. Jackson hated everyone but the douchebags that followed him like lost puppies.

"Hey, let's see this thing." Stiles said with enthusiasm, while he bobbed on the balls of his feet.

"See what thing?" Jade was utterly confused.

The two boys ignored her as her brother slightly pulled up his shirt, revealing a bandage that covered most of the bottom part of the left side of his stomach.

"Oh my god, Scott!" his sister gasped, covering her mouth with her hand.

"Ooh."

"Yeah, woah!" Scott recoiled from his best friends' touch, "It was too dark to see much but I'm pretty sure it was a wolf."

"A wolf bit you?"

"Uh-huh."

"No, not a chance." Stiles deadpanned.

"I heard a wolf howling."

"No, you didn't." Jade and Stiles argued.

Scott scoffed, "What do you mean, "No you didn't" how do you know what I heard?"

"Because California doesn't have wolves, okay? Not in like 60 years." she informed her twin."

"Really?"

"Yes really. There are no wolves in California. And this is why I'm the smart twin." She told him, as she tucked her phone into the small pocket of her backpack.

"Oh, well if you don't believe me about the wolf you're definitely not going to believe me when I tell you, I found the body." Scott said proudly.

"You - What? You found the body? Are you kidding me?"

"I wish. I'm going to have nightmares for a month." Scott cringed at the image of half the dead girl's body.

"That's freaking awesome. I mean, seriously, that's the best thing that's happened to this town since..." Lydia Martin walked passed the trio, not bothering to give the three a first glance, let alone a second, "The birth of Lydia Martin. Lydia you look... like you're going to ignore me again. You're the cause of this, ya know?" Stiles sighed, dropping his hands into his pockets.

"Uh-huh."

"Dragging me down to your nerd depths. I'm a nerd by association." Stiles liked to blame it on his lopsided-jawed best friend for the cause of his "nerd depths."

"As you know, there was indeed a body found in the woods last night - " at the words of their teacher, Jade, Scott, and Stiles looked to one another, "and I'm sure your eager little minds are coming up with many macabre scenarios for what happened. But I am here to tell you that the police have a suspect," Scott took a glance at Stiles who simply shrugged his shoulders, "which means, you can all turn your attention to the syllabus on your desks." The whole class groaned in sync.

Jade looked down to the paper on her desk, and mentally groaned... again.

The year looked too jam packed for her to handle, not simple and easy like her freshman year had been. She looked over to her twin, who was paying no attention to it, however, looking out the window.
