Part of the family

I'm sleeping soundly when I felt a kiss on my cheek," Quinn, Quinn, time to wake up beautiful!" I sat up in bed and groaned," what time is it?" I opened my eyes and saw him smiling mischievously," it's 6:30 in the morning, time to feed the animals! Your mom wanted you to be a part of the family so you have to work like part of the family!" He says. I smile and get out of bed. I put my hair into a ponytail, get dressed and walk downstairs where Sawyer is already eating breakfast. I make myself some cereal and sit down beside him. We play footsies for a while then we begin telling jokes to each other. I tell an especially funny one which causes Sawyer to almost choke on the milk he was drinking before it started spraying out his nose. I begin laughing and I don't stop until I feel like I'm going to throw up. Once we have calmed down and have cleaned up the milk, we walk outside to begin the chores. Sawyer teaches me how to feed the calfs in the nursery then goes off to put hay into the pasture. Once I finish I walk to the pasture where Sawyer, Aric and Skylar are working. I see the tractor moving and look up to wave to his dad. I walk over to Sawyer and give him a kiss, he smiles as he places hay into the feeding bin. I walk over to a cow and begin petting her. Sawyer comes over and pets the cow too." She's so pretty!" I say rubbing her head. Sawyer laughs," almost as pretty as you." I smile and lace my fingers with his," can we go back to the house now?" I ask. Sawyer laughs," nope, we still have to feed the roosters!" I groan jokingly as Sawyer leads me to the chicken coop. We enter the pen and begin spreading the feed around. Once we are done we walk back to the house. We walk to the living room and plop down onto the couch. I curl up beside Sawyer as he turns on the tv. He flips through the channels when he lands on a Disney movie playing." Omg! I love this movie!" I say as I read the title, Alice in wonderland." Can we watch this?" I ask in a baby voice. Sawyer laughs and holds my chin squeezing my lips," sure my sweet baby!" He says. He then kisses my lips. I smile and jump on him causing him to fall back into the couch. I get comfortable on top of him, using him as a pillow. I turn my head to watch the movie, I feel Sawyer breathing underneath me. One of my favourite songs comes on so I start singing along. Sawyer joins me and we sing together. I can feel him singing underneath me. Once the movie is over I get off of Sawyer and I hear him groan." Finally, I can breath!" I hear him mutter. " I heard that!" I say. Sawyer laughs," I'm sorry, it's just I've never had that much cute on top of me !" I laugh and pull my knees to my chest. I check my phone, 9:30. I rest my head on my knees when I get an idea," hey! Why don't we drive into town and just walk around, I've never been to Fultonville before and I want to explore." Sawyer sits up." That sounds like a great idea, but Aric and Skylar are still working, mom and dad are also working and I don't have my licence yet. But we could walk!" I stand up and pull Sawyer up too. " sure!" I say. We walk out and Sawyer screams to his brothers where we are going. We walk down the road hand in hand. I'm starting to feel tired so I stop, Sawyer stops to." What's wrong?" He asks." Oh nothing, just a little tired, that's all, I'm not used to walking this much!" I reply. Sawyer frowns then smiles," here, hop on my back." He says. He squats down and I jump on his back. We walk into town like this, me on his back. He puts me down and we walk down the street. I look through the windows of the shops. We walk up and down the roads occasionally stopping to look in the stores, I find a really cute dress that looks amazing but just as I go to pay I realize I forgot my purse." Crap!" I say," I forgot my purse." Sawyer pulls out his wallet," don't worry, I'll buy it." I smile and give him a kiss. When we walk out of the shop I thank him. Around lunch we walk home, I manage to walk the entire time. When we get home I go upstairs to put the dress away. Sawyer walks in after me. I fall onto the bed, he soon joins me. He turns to me and says," tonight we should go out for supper, there's a great restaurant in town, my mom can probably drive us." I sit up and smile," that would be great."
