"What are those?" Corvus asked me as I used his eyes to stare at the red spots on my neck while running my fingers over them gently. "Did the Dragon King harm you? It appears he did," Corvus added, concern evident in his voice.
My cheeks flushed in embarrassment as memories of what he did to me the previous nights flashed in my head. How his lips gently sucked on my neck, leaving these angry-looking red sores on my pale skin. How his hands explored every sacred area of my body, making me emit sounds I didn't even know I was capable of making. How he whispered softly into my ear, his warm breath sending tingles down my neck as he bit it in a way that had my heart racing. How my toes curled underneath the water as he brought me to ecstasy.
He was indeed dangerous, I have to admit that. The temptation of the Dragon King was undeniable, but he was someone I needed to avoid at all costs.
Up until yesterday, I never knew those subtle gestures could awaken a whole new realm of desires within me, one that had remained untouched and unexplored for twenty long years. Is this what sex is all about, or is there more to it? Why hadn't my godmother ever breathed a word about this to me? Multiple questions raced through my mind at that moment, and as usual, I found myself without answers.
"He didn't hurt me, Corvus," I said softly as I adjusted my daily uniform, waiting for one of the maids to inform me that it was time to head to the training ground. "What he did to me was..." I paused, contemplating how to even begin to describe all of the wild and intoxicating things he had awakened within my body.
"What did he do?" Corvus questioned, his voice filled with concern.
I thought about Corvus's question for a while, the room filled with tension as the seconds ticked away. Finally, I broke the silence, my voice calm. "It is nothing you should worry about," I reassured him.I rose from my seat, the soft rustle of my gown filling the room as I approached the mirror that adorned the chamber's walls. Carefully, I gathered my long hair and secured it into a neat ponytail, feeling more satisfied with my reflection in the mirror.
Just then, a young maid, her presence timely, discreetly popped her head into the room. Her appearance served as a reminder that it was time for me to start my daily activity. I acknowledged her with a nod, before saying to my crow. "Come on, Corvus, let's leave."
Corvus didn't press for further answers, sensing that I had my reasons for keeping my experience. He followed me diligently as we made our way through the corridor. The palace guards followed corvus and I but maintained a respectful distance behind us in order not to draw any attention since not everyone knows that I am the queen.
