"Sadie, you're on in one minute."
Sadie - "Okay. I'm really nervous."
Caleb - "Okay, calm down. Do you have stage frights?"
Sadie - "...."
Caleb - "Oh, shit. You do. Okay, breathe."
"30 seconds!"
Conan - "Our next guest is a new actress that's already rising her way in Hollywood and the world and she's also the star of the upcoming movie, Dear Zoe, and the upcoming HBO series, The Last Of Us. Please welcome, Sadie Sink!"
(Crowd Cheering)
Conan - "Hi nice to meet you and welcome."
Sadie - "Thank you, you too."
Conan - "Now from what I already learned about you so far is that just 3 years ago, you were just a barrista working in coffee shop and now here you are literally 3 years later, you're filming a movie and show at the same time. So I'll ask the obvious question now, "How"?"
(Laughing)
Conan - "How did you get to where you were 3 years ago to now?"
Sadie - (Chuckle) "Well, it all started with just a simple day with me working."
(Laughing)
Sadie - "While I was working, my friend Millie just came into the shop like crazy and she kept saying my name. So I kept telling her, "What's wrong, what's wrong"?"
(Laughing)
Sadie - "She told me that she saw an advertisement about an acting class and I should be in it and my response was, "Oooooo. I don't know if I want to"."
(Laughing)
Conan - "But you took it anyway?"
Sadie - "Yes, I listened to Millie and decided to do it and oh, my God, my acting teacher was such a pain in the ass. He would yell at us for not doing a good job."
(Laughing)
Conan - "But you strong and you didn't quit."
Sadie - "Yes, I didn't quit. So the year after that, last year, I got a call from my agent and she told me, "You got 2 parts for a movie and a show". And I was like, "What!"."
(Laughing)
Conan - "Well, obviously you didn't know what they were yet right?"
Sadie - "No I didn't. I was just really super excited that I finally got first parts."
Conan - "Well, we have a sneak peek of you in the first episode of The Last Of Us which premieres next week on HBO. Can we play that sneak peek really quick?"
(Sneak Peek)
"Put your hand out. Count from one to ten slowly."
Sadie - "1,2,3."
"Slowly."
Sadie - "1....2....3....4....5....6....7....8....(Beep)....You."
(Laughing)
Conan - "Obviously we had to had to censore that and your finger too." (Laughs)
Sadie - "Yeah." (Laughs)
Conan - "Who would like to thank for your rise to stardom?"
Sadie - "Well, first I would like to thank David, my acting teacher, also - "
Conan - "Wait, hang on. Your acting teacher's name is David?"
Sadie - "Yeah."
Conan - "I had a bully in middle school named David. He tortured me everyday."
Sadie - "Aw, I'm sorry." (Laughs)
Conan - "Hey David, if you're watching me, look, I'm famous now you jackass. What are you doing with your life?"
Sadie - (Laughing) "Also, I loved to thank my family and friends, and lastly I loved to thank my boyfriend, Caleb for being with me every step of the way, coming with me on sets and not making me feel nervous. I love you, Caleb."
(Crowd) "Awwww."
Caleb - "I love you too, babe."
Conan - "Question."
Sadie - "Yes?"
Conan - "Did you bring Caleb with you here tonight? Is he backstage?"
Sadie - "Yes he is."
Conan - "Security, will you please escort Caleb out of here? I want him gone."
(Laughing)
Conan - "I'm kidding. (Laughing) I would never do such a thing. Sadie Sink every one! The Last Of Us premieres next week on HBO MAX. Don't forget to watch it."
