I stand in front of my mirror and look at myself. My blue eyes scan every single detail. I run my hand carefully over my pointed ears, then gently over my cheeks. I feel the texture of my nose. I wandered down and felt my lips, which were a slightly rosy color. Gently moving my hand over my neck, I feel the chain of my necklace. The oval pendant with a beautiful purple stone and a butterfly covering part of the stone.

I remember the day my mother gave it to me. I was in town with my mother to buy fresh fruit. We passed by a stand with beautiful colored stones. I looked at the beautiful stones, especially the purple stones, I like the color purple. When it was my birthday, my father and mother gave me a small gift. When I opened the box, I saw a beautiful pendant. My dad always called me his little butterfly, so seeing a butterfly on my favorite stone was very emotional. My blue eyes landed on my dress. It was a silken green dress with gold edges. The silk shaped my figure, The dark green shoes with gold tree leaves on the back make my legs stand out, I take a deep breath and walk over to my desk. I see a lot of new laws and papers that need to be approved. I don't like all these laws. My father wouldn't like these laws, He'd have done something about it. I was looking for my pen when the door opened. I was expecting Lord Sebastian, but the one who entered my study was my little brother Leo.

Our parents had a bad feud with the neighboring kingdom of Silverwood. One night we were awakened by alarm bells indicating intruders. Our guards ran to my and my brother's rooms to take us to a safe place. That was the last time we saw our parents because the next day we learned that they had been taken away and locked up. This happened 10 years ago and we have no idea if they are still alive. My brother saw me struggling and tried to make me laugh with his little dances and funny jokes. He sits down on my lap and asks me if he can help me. ''of course, you can help me," I say and start to organize my papers. That's when I see something I thought I would never see again. It was a small porcelain unicorn. I was blown away, thinking back to when I was younger. My friend and I were playing in the square with our porcelain figurines when an older person stepped on the little unicorn. The little unicorn broke into two pieces. My friend was very emotional about it. When I took the unicorn in my hands and closed my eyes, I felt something else in my body. I opened my eyes and saw my friend looking at me in shock. I asked her why she was looking at me like that, and the only thing she could do was point to my hands. When I looked down, the unicorn was whole again. That was the day that people not only looked at me funny, but they didn't like me. I was different in every way.

I was jolted out of my thoughts by my little brother's voice asking me something. "What is this?" I looked at the paper he was holding. This is how we trial pirates, but it's just for show, these pirates are always sentenced to death. "But that's not fair, you know Dad wouldn't agree to that", Leo says making me sigh. "I know little tiger, but what can we do, the court isn't really on my side". He looked at me with a sad expression on his face. I was talking to my little brother when Lord Sebastian, one of my courtiers, entered the room. we have a problem". I looked at him with a puzzled look. I told Leo to go into the courtyard to play with our St. Bernard named Louie. Sebastian came up to me and said, 'We found some interesting people docked in the harbor". They expect you to be at the trial this afternoon.
