A couple weeks had pass.

Roxanna was adapting slowly but surely. Her roommates Cho and Luna were extremely kindhearted which made it easy for her to relax in her new house.

In terms of classes, she was sat near Hermione Granger for most of them. They were alike in mindset and skillset so the professors had made them a pairing.

It was early morning and the air was brittle. Owl's flapping echoed the arched hallways and students were running from room to room, including Roxanna.

"Shit, shit, shit." She whispered as she was running while holding a potion book memorizing a recipe she should've prior. Her Ravenclaw gown fluttering behind her, the dark blue colors complimenting her brunette hair.

"Excus-" The book clumsily slipped from her hands that were painful from the cold. A loud thud sliced the air, catching the attention of the people that Roxanna was trying to get past.

Without thinking she crouched to get the book that was on the floor.

"Accio." A low voice casted.

The book slid away.

Roxanna's hand was still on the floor and her head turned to wear the book slid. She suddenly felt a kick on her hand and a jolt of pain. She yelped whiling rising from the floor.

"Did you just kick my hand?" She raised her voice in the empty corridor. No one was around her. It was just her and the group from the other day.

The boy who kicked her hand scoffed. He was peevishly handsome with his brown dark hair curling over his dark eyes. She darted her eyes scanning for her book, and noticed another boy had it. He was incredibly tall and had hazel features.

Suddenly the third boy snatched the book out of his friends hands and read it.

"Thanks Theodore."

"No fret Draco, I knew I recognized that book from class."

Roxanna assessed.

"You know something funny, I needed this book all week and you had it all along."

The final boy was the white haired one. Brilliant. Roxanna was cornered by the Slytherins who she was warned to death about.

"Its not like I knew and that was my intention." She spat, still gripping her bruised hand. The kick was harsh and the pain was exemplified from the cold in the air.

"But it took you a week to memorize a single book. You're meant 'incredibly smart' Ravenclot"

Her face jerked back in awe of their arrogance. "And your meant to be incredibly resourceful Slythercunt."

"Accio." Roxanna casted, grabbed her book and walked away.

As she was heading round the corner she looked back.

She heard one of them grit, "She's definitely a ruined root"

They all chuckled.

Roxanna stopped in her tracks. She hasn't heard that since sorting ceremony.

This wasn't time to stroll around and ponder, she ran to potions class.
