Family Cabin Trip

It had been a while since Ben and Ciara went to the cabin, so Ben decided. It would be fun to take Bo there for the first time.

" Hey, babe, what do you think about taking Bo to the cabin?"

" I think it would be fun. When did you want to go?"

" How about this weekend?"

" Perfect, I have time to pack everything we'll need."

After putting Bo down for the night, Ciara started packing for their cabin trip.

" Babe, there is so much stuff we need to pack."

" It can't be that much stuff."

" Ben, we've got to pack food, toys, books, clothes, blankets, highchair, and a playpen."

Ben laughed and said, "Okay, so a little more than an overnight bag."

" Do you still want to go?"

"Absolutely," Ben said as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek.

Ben grabbed a couple of bags and started helping Ciara pack.

After they packed, Ben set them on the chair.

" I just have to pack Bo's things tomorrow, then we can head to the cabin."

" Perfect, I'm going to jump in the shower."

Ben kissed Ciara before walking into the bathroom.

Ciara grabbed her robe and decided to join her husband.

Ben didn't hear Ciara come into the bathroom or the shower. Ciara wrapped her arms around him, which made him jump.

" Sorry," Ciara said as she kissed his back.

" Don't be. I love when you join me in the shower." Ben turned around and kissed her.

He pulled away, looked into her eyes, and said, " Remember the first time you joined me in the shower?"

" I do you; were released from prison. We were at the Salem Inn, and you went to take a shower."

" You joined me in the shower; you shaved my face and washed my body; you gave me a spa day."

" I say we do it again," Ciara said as she grabbed the soap.

They took turns washing each other and sharing kisses. Ben gently pushed Ciara against the wall and kissed her neck. He worked his way down her chest and kissed her growing stomach.

Ciara pulled Ben back up and kissed him before pulling away, "saying we should continue this in bed."

Ben turned off the water and grabbed a towel and Ciara's robe. Ben wrapped the towel around his waist and picked Ciara up before carrying her to the bed.

Ben laid her down and hovered over her. They started kissing, and Ben slid Ciara's robe off.They made love and fell asleep.

The next day, Ben was the first one awake. He left Ciara a note and went for a run.Ciara woke up when she heard Bo on the monitor. She walked into his room and saw him standing in his crib.

" Mama."

" Good morning, sweetheart."

Ciara picked Bo up and brought him to the changing table. Ciara changed his diaper and dressed him before taking him to the kitchen for breakfast.

Ciara placed him in his highchair and heard Ben coming through the front door.

" Babe, we're in the kitchen."

Ben walked into the kitchen, kissed Ciara, ran his hand over her stomach, and kissed Bo's head.

" Hey, little man."

" Dada."

Ben watched Bo play with the Cheerios on his tray. Ben looked at Ciara and said, " What would you like for breakfast?"

"Scrambled eggs and toast."

" Coming right up."

Ciara sat in the chair and watched Ben cook; she looked over at Bo and watched him shove Cheerios in his mouth.

After breakfast, Ciara packed Bo's bag for the cabin while Ben packed the playpen and highchair.Ben took a quick shower; they dressed, grabbed the bags, and headed to the car.

Ben packed the car while Ciara put Bo in his car seat.

" Ready to go?"

" Yep."

Ben opened the door for Ciara and then got in the driver's seat.

When they got to the cabin, Bo was sound asleep. Ciara picked him up; Bo stirred a little, then rested his head on her shoulder. Ben grabbed the playpen and went in to set it up.

Ben set up the playpen and laid a blanket and his bear in there so Ciara could lay him down.Ciara kissed Bo's head, laid him down in the playpen, and covered him with his blanket.

Ciara sat on the bed and watched Bo sleep while Ben brought everything in.While Bo was sleeping, Ben and Ciara made sandwiches for lunch. After lunch, Ciara lay down while Ben put everything away before he joined her.

" I love how peaceful it is here."

" Me too."

Ben snuggled with Ciara, and the two fell asleep.

An hour later, Bo woke up and started to cry.

Ben walked over and picked him up.

" What's wrong, little man?"

" Mama."

"Mama is sleeping."

When Bo calmed down, Ben set him back in the playpen and grabbed a few toys for him to play with.

Bo was playing with one of his light-up music toys when Ciara woke up.Ciara saw Ben's side empty and slowly sat up.

" Ben?"

Ben walked into the cabin, holding a bag.

" I forgot the most important one in the car."

Ciara laughed as Ben placed the diaper bag on the bed.

"Mama."

Ciara looked at Bo and smiled.

" Hi, baby."

She picked him up and held him in her arms as she walked around the cabin.

" Bo, this is where Mommy and Daddy met."

" That's right, and now we get to bring you and your siblings here."

Ciara set Bo down so he could toddle around the cabin.

They spent the rest of the evening having dinner, playing with toys, and cuddling together on the bed, reading books.

They put Bo down. Put on some soft music and slow dance together. They got ready for bed, checked on Bo, and then got in bed.

Ciara laid her head on Ben's chest and sighed.

" I'm so glad we came here."

" Me too, it's so relaxing here."

" I know we are only here until tomorrow, but I'm glad we came."

" Maybe Next time we can stay longer now that we know Bo likes it here."

" I think that's a great idea."

" I love you so much, Ben Weston."

" I love you so much, Ciara Weston."

Ben kissed Ciara's head, and they drifted off to sleep in the place where they first met with their son asleep in the playpen.
