The next day, the two girls ventured out into the town, taking in the sights and sounds. They stopped at various restaurants, sampling delicious dishes from all over the world. They strolled through the streets, chatting and laughing, the happiness evident on their faces. Their eyes sparkled with joy, and their smiles were as radiant as the sun. It was a dag filled with adventure and good food, a day that would be remembered.

As the days turned into weeks, their wonderful day of fun became a distant memory. The monotony of work and life's daily demands slowly took over. They missed their time together, the freedom and excitement of those precious hours spent in each other's company. They vowed to take a vacation soon, to escape the drudgery of everyday life and to create new memories together. But for now, they had to be content with the promise of something better to come.

While Maltida's pregnancy wasn't yet apparent to the outside world, Stephlon could see the signs, the early morning sickness, the mood swings and cravings. Maltida was s the same person, but there was new challenges and changes that Stephlon was trying to navigate. It was hard sometimes to keep up with her friend's fluctuating emotions, Stephlon loved her all the same, yet she found herself questioning her own sanity.

As the weeks went by, Stephlon found herself reading everything she could on pregnancy, trying to understand and support her friend as best as she could. But sometimes, she felt overwhelmed, like a volcano about to erupt. She would try to bite her tongue, not wanting to hurt Maltida's feelings, but her eyes would betray her, showing the frustration that bubbled just beneath the surface. Maltida, for her part, would smile sweetly and try to be understanding, knowing that Stephlon was doing her best.

"Time to go to work, girlfriend!" Stephlon called out, twirling Maltida's car key around her finger. She was dressed in a simple but elegant outfit, her long golden-brown tresses pulled in a neat ponytail. Her small, clean face was free of makeup, but her natural beauty was radian. She was wearing black suit pants that accentuated her long slender legs, paired with a crisp white shirt that she had rolled up to the elbows. Her black heels clicked against the floor as she walked, exuding confidence and poise.

"Bye, now get out" Maltida's voice startled Stephlon, causing her to jump. She turned around to see Maltida standing behind her, an ice cream bowl in one hand and a spoon in her mouth. Her black hair was pulled up into a messy bun, with tendrils escaping and falling into her eyes. She was wearing fuzzy socks and a white sleep pants, with a black tank top. She looked at Stephlon, the spoon still sticking out of her mouth, as if questioning why she was still there. Stephlon gave her a stern look, then shook her head in amusement.

As Stephlon drove through the picturesque streets of Scottsdale, she felt her heart slowing its pace, calmed by the sweet chirping of birds and the peaceful beauty of the town. Her lips curved into a genuine smile as she took in the sights around her - a brilliant blue sky, a dazzling array of flowers, and the nimble squirrels running across the road, darting in and out of traffic with impressive speed and agility. The city seemed to have a magical quality, one that lifted her spirits and made her feel light and happy.

Skillfully maneuvering her car into the resort's parking lot, Stephlon turned off the engine and gathered her purse. She put the keys away tied her ponytail in place. As she walked towards the main building, her steps were light and graceful, her confidence evident in every moment. Upon entering the building, she greeted the front desk employees with a warm smile, her gaze sweeping over each of them to check that they were dressed appropriately. Satisfied, she turned her attention to the task at hand, ready to take on the day's challenges with skill and determination

The front desk manager hurried after Stephlon, her quick strides bringing her within arm's reach. She lightly tapped Stephlon's shoulder, and the manager's head swiveled around. When she recognized the uniform, she turned to face the woman, giving her her full attention. The front desk manager seemed slightly out of breath, but her face was eager, alert and friendly.

"Ma'am, someone left this for you at the front desk," the woman said, a bright smile on her face as she handed Stephlon's eyes widened in surprise, taking the bouquet in her hands and looking from the flowers to the woman in front of her. She ran her fingers over the soft petals, breathing in the sweet scent.

"Who is it from?" Stephlon asked searching the bouquet for any sign of who it was from.

"I have no idea ma'am" the front desk manager replied, her cheeks already hurting from smiling, while she stood shuffling her weight from one leg to the other. Stephlon raised her brows in confusion, looking back at the woman in front of her. There was nothing to indicate who had sent her the flowers, and a feeling of disappointment welled up inside her. She had been expecting a note, a clue, something to satisfy her curiosity. But there was nothing.

Stephlon smiled as she dismissed the front desk manager, still gazing at the flowers in her hand, lost in thought and trying to wrap her head around the fact that she had a secret admirer. She turned to walk up the stairs but stoped in her tracks when she saw the man walking down, his gaze still piercing, the air of superiority and dominance ever compelling, his intoxicating beauty drawing attention.

Gunther Von Reichenstein was back.
