Reader P.O.V.

I walked into the cafeteria to eat lunch and noticed Euntae or Vasco waving for me to come join his table. I chuckled softly to myself at how childish he was and noticed a certain big-eared boy beside him causing my heart to beat faster. It was Jace. I soon came and sat across from the two as Vasco started rambling to me about something, but I wasn't paying attention. I couldn't pay attention when Jace was literally right in front of me?? I couldn't help but glance at him accidentally locking eye contact. I just smiled softly at him but he looked away.

"What's up Jace? Your face is red.." Vasco said bluntly causing Jace to clear his throat.

"Im all good! Just uhm.. felt a little hot thats all haha.."

He let out a sigh as his face eventually calmed down. I just giggled at how cute he looked. He really knew how to make my heart squeeze. I continued to talk about stuff with Vasco while chuckling  from time to time at his words.

Jace P.O.V.

Y/N L/N, definitely the most gorgeous and beautiful woman ever. I physically can not speak or think when she is literally sitting right in front of me. I tried acting cool sitting up straighter thinking of what could impress her, but I knew she must've fallen for my best friend, Vasco. Hell, it definitely hurts but I still wanted to be happy for them since Vasco found someone who loved him. I just wished the person who loved him loved me. I snapped out of my trance when I heard a familiar soft voice saying my name

"Jace? Jace~?"

I felt a lump in my throat and started sweating, but I tried my best to respond.

"Huh?? Yeah? W-what do you need Y/N?"

I mentally slapped myself when I heard my voice crack and my stutter. That was so embarrassing..

"You just looked troubled or deep in thought.. you okay Jace?"

My name being called by her voice sent butterflies into my stomach as my heart beat quickened. She is so damn sweet caring about me. I sighed softly and regained myself before flashing a small smile and a thumbs up

"Yeah, i'm okay just was thinking about something haha."

I chuckled nervously while smiling.

Reader P.O.V.

I couldn't help but feel worried for Jace, was he alright? He looked really.. deep in thought about something. Vasco soon left to go outside for some reason? I just waved to him as he said he would be back soon. I then turned my attention to Jace who was already staring at me.

"Jace~ is something on my face?"

I propped my head on top of my hands and placed my hands on the table as I looked into his eyes with an innocent smile. I giggled as soon as he broke eye contact and covered half of his face. Even with covering his face, his ears were still red. Vasco soon ran back to our table with three drinks and placed on in front of me and Jace

"I found it in the streets."

"Vasco what the fuck.." I answered confused. How does he just find stuff in the streets..
