Heejin : Relax

I watch from afar as I see my girlfriend giving it her all on stage. Her group has been working nonstop for weeks now and she won't admit it but I can tell it's taking a toll on her. I've tried to tell her to take a break but she keeps refusing and is even staying late at the studio to go over the dances even though she already does it perfectly. 

They finish the performance and as soon as the lights go off I see Heejin lean onto Hyeju making me concerned. I can't do anything since my performance is up next but we cross paths as we enter the stage and they exit I make eye contact with Heejin. She looks drained but gives me a small smile to try and reassure me. 

I am distracted for a second until Momo unnie shakes my shoulder a bit silently asking if I'm okay which I nod going to my spot next to my dance partner for this stage Bada unnie. I make eye contact with her and she holds me a little closer than usual but it's because she was just asking if I was okay which I don't reply but she knows I'm not. 

Throughout the performance I put on a fake smile just trying to get through it as quickly as possible but we had three songs to get through. Luckily Bada unnie and the rest of my members helped me through it. 

As soon as we finish I rush off stage and attempt to head to Loona's dressing room but I am suddenly pulled into the bathroom. I see Bada and Jihyo unnie looking at me very concerned. 

"I know you are concerned about Heejin but you need to calm down before talking to her. She is going to be sensitive right now so be patient with her and be there for her." Jihyo unnie says. 

"And if she says something rude to you, let me know and I'll handle it." Bada unnie says cracking her knuckles and Jihyo elbows her. 

"I will." I say and take a deep breath. 

I exit the bathroom and begin again to Loona's dressing room. I knock on the door and Chu opens it looking relieved to see me. 

"Thank God you're here, Heejin is driving me insane. She won't calm down." She says making me concerned as I enter the room seeing Heejin monitor the stage and going over the moves she believes she messed up. 

"Baby?" I say softly but she doesn't flinch and just keep dancing and rewatching the stage. "Heejin." I say more sternly. 

"I have to get this right." She mutters super focused on dancing. 

"Baby, you did amazing, it's okay to relax." I say and attempt to pull the phone away from her. 

"No, y/n please!" She says pulling the phone away from me. 

"Heejin this isn't healthy, please let me help you." I say softly and hold my hand out for her to give me the phone. 

She hesitates for a moment but hands me the phone and I click it off then gently bring Heejin into my arms to lay on the couch. By now most of the people in the dressing room had left to give us some alone time. 

"You are over working baby, even the best need to rest." I say as she melts in my arms laying her head on my chest. 

"It's been so hard." She says softly and a tear falls down her face. 

"Aw baby, it's okay. I'm always gonna be here for you." I say and give her a kiss on her forehead.

"Can we stay in tonight and watch a movie?" She asks cutely looking up at me. 

"Of course baby." I say giving her a soft kiss on the lips making her smile. 

There's a knock on the door and Jihyo and Chu come in. 

"Everything okay?" Jihyo asks and I nod. 

"Heejin, y/n needs to change out of her stage outfit now okay?" Chu says carefully causing Heejin to tighten her grip on me. 

"Baby, how about we change then we can head home okay? I'll change quick and wait outside for you?" I suggest and she contemplates for a bit. 

"Okay." She says and gets up giving me a kiss on the lips letting me leave with Jihyo. 

We enter our dressing room which was down the hall from Loona's. 

"Do I need to beat her up?" Bada says as soon as I enter the room. 

"Jeez unnie, no it's okay she listened to me." I say and go behind the curtain to change.

"Good or it was gonna get ugly." I hear her say making me roll my eyes. 

I finish getting changed and walk out. 

"You weren't gonna do shit." I say making Bada glare at me. 

"Watch yourself little one." She says pointing at me and I just make a heart with my hand. 

I grab my bag giving my members a kiss on the cheek including Bada. 

"Love you guys!" I say and head out the door. 

"Be safe! Text me if you need backup!" I hear Bada say making me roll my eyes again. 

I walk out the door and before I could take another step an arm grabs me. 

"Hi beautiful." A sweet loving voice says making me into a hug. 

"Hi baby, you got changed quick." I say and she smiles giving me a kiss. 

"I couldn't be without you any longer. I need my babygirl." She says making me giggle. 

We get into a van and head to my place. During the car ride she kept holding my hand softly stroking it with her thumb kissing it every so often. We arrive at my place shortly and quickly get inside. 

"Baby why don't you pick a movie okay?" I say and she nods no questions asked and gives me a kiss on the cheek. 

While she is sitting on my bed looking on the streaming services to find a movie, I am running a bath for her. I place a bath bomb in and some relaxing bubbles and essential oils. I light a candle then call Heejin in. 

"What's up baby?" She asks coming into the bathroom the gasps.

"Surprise!" I say and hold her hands softly leading her closer to the tub. 

"What's this for?" She asks. 

"I want you to fully relax and you can't do that without a nice bath." I say and smiles giving me a kiss on the lips. 

"Well I will fully relax if you join me." She says and lifts my shirt off. 

We both get undressed and she gets in first then I follow laying on her and she wraps her arms around me giving me a kiss on my bare shoulder. 

"I love you." She says.

"I love you too." I say and lean back giving her a kiss on the lips.
