Shuhua's alarm woke her up the next morning. She groaned and covered her ears.

"Soojin can you turn it off" Shuhua grumbled. No response. Confused, Shuhua called her again. Then she realised, no one was hugging her. No one was holding her hand or hugging her waist. Soojin wasn't home.

Shuhua got up and streached, squealing in satisfaction before rubbing her eyes and checking her phone.

Four messages from Soojin.

I'm staying over at Minyeong's tonight, we decided to catch up with each other

Also she's moving to our school! Isn't that amazing?!

Oh.

Shuhua stared at her phone. She felt..sad? Angry? She didn't even know.

"I mean, I shouldn't even be mad. It's not like we were dating or anything, I'm just her sex partner. Friends with benefits ot whatever" Shuhua ranted. "Besides, she's catching up with a friend, not hooking up with some random girl"

Shuhua got up from the bed, lazily getting ready. She didn't feel like doing anything today, but she made breakfast and took an Advil for her headache. After breakfast, she cleaned the house and did the laundry. She wrote a note for soojin to come home to before leaving the house. The note read:

Hey Soo,
i cleaned the house, washed the dishes and did the laundry so you don't have much to do when you get home. The dress i wore yesterday is in the wash so take out the load and put it in the dryer when you get back. Eat a lot and have fun before school starts tomorrow.

Shuhua unlocked her house and the dogs eagerly greeting her at the door, having woken up by the door opening. Yuqi had gone home with Soyeon so she had the house to herself. All the options to choose from but Shuhua decides to...

Go to bed.

She brings the dogs into her bedroom the three of them take a nap together.

Shuhua wakes up as the sun starts to set, so she gets up and grabs a handful of frozen chicken nuggets, heats them up and serves then with ketchup. She then pours some dog food into Haku and Mata's bowls and refills their water before calling them downstairs to eat.

After eating and washing, she hooks the leashes onto the dogs and they go for a short walk around the block before returning and going to sleep.

What a productive day.

Shuhua wakes up again to her alarm going off. She turns it off and gets ready for school. Since Yuqi is still at Soyeon's, She called Minnie and Miyeon to give her a lift to school. Saying goodbye to Haku and Mata, she runs to the car and enters.

"Good morning Shuhua, how'd you sleep" Miyeon greeted cheerfully.

"I slept pretty well, considering how i slept almost all day yesterday" Shuhua said. "Thanks for giving me a ride, I owe you one"

"Yeah, you owe me some gas money" Minnie chuckles, eyes still on the road.

"Um, you're literally rich? The amount of gas money you spend on your car each month is like pocket money to you" Shuhua rolls her eyes.

"Hey! Money is money" Minnie retorts. The car ride is filled with small conversation until they get to school, parting ways to get to class or to say hi to friends.

Shuhua heads in the direction of her first class, which is across campus and she has 3 minutes. She stops when she hears her favorite soft, silky voice.

"Shuhua!" Soojin calls. Shuhua turns back around and gives a soft smile. Soojin speed-walks up to her and gives her a hug and a peck on the cheek. "are you feeling better? Thank you for cleaning up my house by the way, it was very stress relieving to come home to a neat house" Soojin smiled warmly. "Minyeong was really impressed at how nice my house was and decided to spend the night! It's all thanks to you. Speaking of which.." Soojin turned a bit and waved to an incoming Minyeong, who waved back.

"Yeah im feeling better, and no problem! Anything for you. But i have to get to class, so....bye" Shuhua waved before sprinting to her next class. She barely heard Soojin call her name.

Shuhua made it to her seat just in time for the bell to ring and the teacher to come in. Yuqi and Tzuyu were already in their seats, waving to Shuhua excitedly when they saw her.

"Hey girl! How was Minnie's party for you?" Tzuyu asked excitedly, pretending to be writing down notes.

"it was meh, i left early" Yuqi looked up, shocked.

"What? But i saw you talking with soojin! I thought you left with her?"

"No I felt worn out so Minnie and Miyeon dropped me off and Soojin's, but she didnt go home because she was too busy with Minyeong" Shuhua groaned.

"Wait who's Minyeong?" Tzuyu asked. "Does she go here?"

"She does now, apparently she transferred schools once she found out Soojin went. They were childhood best friends or something and stopped talking when high school started because of the different districts or something" Tzuyu and Yuqi nodded, finally understanding the context.

"Anyways, it's nothing to be mad over. She's just catching up with an old friend; and besides, it's not like Soo and I are dating anyways. I'm just her convenient sex toy"

"Right...anyways I'm a bit wary of her. I mean, reuniting with your old friend and then suddenly switching schools? That's a bit much dont you think?" Tzuyu asked, cursing when she wrote the notes wrong.

"It's not my problem to deal with. Soojin can be friends with whoever she likes" Shuhua finishes, listening to her friends talk about their experience at the party.

After their first three classes comes lunch. The three girls walk to the cafeteria together. Tzuyu then split from them when she saw her group of friends.

Yuqi and Shuhua grab lunch and walk to their usual table with the older girls.

"Hi guys!" Yuqi exclaim as soon as they were in earshot of the girls. Everyone greeted the two of them. Yuqi took notice of the girl talking to Soojin. "Is that the Minyeong you were talking about because she drop dead gorgeous" Shuhua slapped her. "Ow!"

"Shut it" Shuhua went to find a spot across of near Soojin, giving the older a pat on the head to grab her attention for a split second. "Hi soo"

"Hey, Shuhua!" Soojin said cheerfully. There werent any spots left at the table so she sat on the very edge, her lunch tray on her lap.

"Shuhua, right?" Minyeong's voice echoed through Shuhua's ears. "Was this your seat? Sorry i was catching up with Soosoo a bit more here but i'll leave, it gives me an excuse to make new friends anyways" a frown flickered on Shuhua's face.

"No it's okay, really not necessary" But Minyeong was gone, and so was the smile on Soojin's face.

Shuhua moved to the seat Minyeong had just left and began to eat her lunch.

"What the heck, Shuhua, i was talking to Yeongi and you made her leave!" Soojin whined, crossing her hands while the younger ate, unbotherd.

"That wasn't even my fault. If you want to go talk to her that badly go follow her" Shuhua said. "If not, do you still want my strawberries?" Soojin lips cracked into the tiniest smile.
